KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Costing of import & Export shipments,
• Checking for compliance with Customs rules,
• Check document information from logistics for accuracy and request correction
• Calculate payment plan for each invoice
• Check vendor payment agreements
• Maintaining Database data integrity,
• Processing of invoices,
• Reconcile agents accounts,
• Manage demurrage and accrual accounts for factories
• Communicate & resolve queries between interdepartmental and third parties,
• Support banking process,
• Provide support to team members,
• Filing & Archiving
   

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is essential
• Experience with SAP would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer knowledge (Microsoft word, excel)
• Independent thinker
• Punctual
• Team player

Minimum Requirements:

• BSc / B Eng / B Tech Industrial Engineering.
• Self-Starter.
• Analytic and Deductive.
• Hands on.
• Team Player.
• Willing to Learn at all levels within the Organization.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Computer Skills (MS Office / Autocad / SAP).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen / 5S / Muda Elimination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively achieve daily production target.
• Ensure a high standard of product quality.
• Maintain a good interpersonal relation within the Department.
• Improve Department efficiencies.
• Ensure effective planned maintenance and breakdowns on shift.
• Ensure the implementation and maintenance of Best Operating Practices.
• Maintain and comply with the Company’s S.H.E.System.
• Confirms the availability of labour at the start of the shift and where necessary organizes replacement labour.
• Monitors the attendance and time keeping of subordinates and labour to minimise disruptions, and where necessary takes the appropriate corrective action.
• Conducts random inspections of production equipment’s in the Department at both start and close of shift.
• Manages subordinates to ensure that critical performance areas and targets are achieved in line with the Best Practice measures (Quality/Cost/Delivery/Safety and Morale).
• Investigates the causes of productivity and performance problems and take corrective action to change report.
• Maintains acceptable staff and employee relations through the application of good interpersonal skills.
• Maintains good housekeeping practice through the weekly application of the housekeeping inspection report.
• Assist in Setting on the Extruder machines and Welding tables.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Appropriate production qualification with minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
• A technical background coupled with quality assurance will be an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge of ISO 14000, JIT and TQM principles.
• Computer literacy is essential.
• Technical background experience on the Gasket manufacturing process will be an added advantage.
