    People Payroll Administrator

    The Role

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical People Payroll Administrator to manage the accurate and compliant processing of payroll. This role is critical in ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, while maintaining full compliance with South African payroll legislation and internal controls.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Accurately collate, validate and capture payroll data
    • Process monthly payroll inputs in line with approved schedules
    • Perform payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
    • Extract and distribute payroll reports and related deliverables
    • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including PAYE, UIF and SDL

    People Payroll Lead

    Job Description

    • Lesaka Technologies is currently looking for a People Payroll Lead to oversee payroll operations, ensure legislative compliance and supervise Payroll Administrators within the payroll function.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate, timeous and controlled payroll processes in line with company policies and statutory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    Statutory Compliance and Payroll Oversight

    • Ensure legislative compliance at all times
    • Oversee the preparation, review and detailed checking of consolidated, monthly and other payroll packs, reconciliations, statutory submissions, costing and reports generated by the Payroll team, ensuring correctness and timeous completion
    • Ensure salaries are signed off and authorised by the appropriate managers
    • Ensure salaries are correctly and timeously paid, including all payroll-related payments to external providers

    • Oversee and supervise Payroll Administrators
