Inspection Activities
- Schedule inspection activities in synergy with production and in accordance with inspection instructions.
- Conduct inspections of all components procured or manufactured daily to ensure compliance to quality and product specifications

Purchasing
- Purchase goods, services and works according to service level agreements between NECSA Group and the vendor.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Receiving goods from suppliers
- Receive and verify all deliveries from suppliers against invoices and delivery notes.
- Accurately capture receipts into the system and generate Good Receiving Vouchers (GRVs).
- Sort and place shipments in correct storage locations.
- Ensure same-day receipt and onward delivery of goods to internal/external clients.
- Report any discrepancies in quantity or quality to the Supervisor.

- Receive weekly schedule of planned maintenance actions from line manager
- Plan and prioritise work during the week, using inputs from line manager as a guide

Monitor/Order Stock
- Maintain adequate stock levels of items regularly used
- Monitor levels, and order components through line manager

Initiate Fabrication of Once-Off Components
- Liaise with engineering shop to produce drawing given specifications
- Liaise with appropriate engineering shops as required
- Initiate production of once-off components by providing specifications and discussing technical requirements
- Use the component as appropriate to complete maintenance routines

- Do Lebo observations according to NTP schedule.

Key Performance Areas

Preventative Maintenance
- Undertake any preventative maintenance Instructed Upon according to the planned maintenance schedule as issued by the team Leader

New Installations
- Obtain drawings from the Drawing office and obtain Certificates of compliance from inspector/contractor
- Undertake ad hoc electrical installations (construction) as required
- Liaise with the drawing office to ensure that the drawings are updated to standard
- Collaboration with other Trades and Engineering Department to ensure smooth project execution.
