    Intern Estate Agent - Mossel Bay

    Key Responsibilities

    • As a real estate agent, you will:
    • Generate leads and canvass for new property listings
    • Value properties using market knowledge and sound principles
    • Develop and execute property marketing strategies
    • Coordinate professional photography and staging services
    • Conduct property viewings and open houses
    • Negotiate deals between buyers and sellers
    • Manage transactions from listing to closing
    • Maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
    • Stay current on local property market trends
    • Provide expert guidance throughout the sales process

    Education & Experience

    • Matric (Mathematics would be preferable)

    *Please note: There are several requirements that need to be fulfilled in order to obtain a Real Estate Qualification:

    • Register with the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA)
    • Obtain Candidate Estate Agent Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC)
    • Complete accredited NQF 4 qualification
    • Compile a Logbook
    • Write the PDE Exam
    • Must be able to sustain yourself for 6 months before you star earning commission.

    Administrator: Alchemy

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide Front desk reception relief duties for the office which includes handling of all phone calls and manage internal & external customers timely and professionally.
    • Receive and greet all visitors in a professional and warm manner
    • Assist in General Office administration.
    • Briefing of internal and external emailers;
    • Where required, support agents with printing of brochures and drops, or make these available digitally;
    • Resize and load photographs were necessary;
    • Load mandates on Alchemy for agents
    • List new properties on Alchemy
    • (Database of buyers) Listing Buyers – Mon & Tuesday; agents give all buyers; input info (cellphone; E-mail) as well as updating the buyers needs when required to do so
    • Ensuring that duplicate buyers are merged and POPI status updated when required to do so
    • Maintaining buyer database post show day
    • Preparing and sending buyer reports
    • Capturing Data and Web enquiry listings
    • Maintain on show listings
    • Capture and manage referrals
    • Manage the lead inbox in alchemy and assign leads accordingly
    • Amend prices, photos and ad copies on Alchemy
    • Upload Pictures from Google Drive & Photographers to Photo library
    • Print images from Photo library for agents when needed.
    • Assist in any ad-hoc duties, projects and activities as and when required.
    • Send out price reduced, just listed, exclusive preview emailers.
    • Send invites to buyers and sellers for show days.

    Education & Experience

    • Min 1-2 years relevant experience.
    • Minimum Matric or post matric diploma

    Knowledge & Skills Required

    • Possess good professional image, excellent phone mannerism and enthusiasm in customer service.
    • Pro-active and highly resourceful
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook applications is highly preferred.

    Full Status Real Estate Agent - Pringle Bay & Rooi Els

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collecting information about properties (lead generation);
    • Canvassing and listing properties to sell;
    • Arranging for photography and home staging;
    • Visit sellers and must be able to talk knowledgably about their property and area;
    • Market evaluation or comparative market analysis– able to apply sound principles when estimating the value of a property;
    • Organise and attend show days;
    • Able to secure exclusive marketing rights and put together a marketing strategy and plan for a property;
    • Represent the seller in negotiations with potential buyers;
    • Monitor sales and liaise with all stakeholders including mortgage brokers, conveyancers and other estate agents;
    • Able to knowledgably advise sellers and buyers;
    • Keeping up to date with trends in the local residential property market as well as the general market.

    Education & Experience

    • Valid, Full Status Fidelity Fund Certificate and up to date with all CPD and PDE requirements;
    • Must have valid driver’s licence and your own reliable transport;
    • Must live in the Pringle Bay and Rooi Els area or alternatively be willing to relocate to the area;
    • Must be able to sustain yourself financially for at least 6 months before you start earning commission.

    Knowledge & Skills Required

    • Excellent verbal and written communication;
    • Must be digitally savvy and comfortable doing business with your mobile phone or device;
    • Computer literate with sound knowledge of the Microsoft suite.
    • Must be comfortable with Social Media and have sound knowledge of using WhatsApp as a marketing tool

    Full Status Rental Agent - Clifton, Camps Bay and Llandudno

    Key Responsibilities

    • Managing the maintenance of rental properties to ensure that they are well maintained;  
    • Showing vacant units to prospective tenants, answering their questions about the property and area, and processing lease applications;  
    • Conducting background checks on prospective tenants to ensure that they have suitable financial backgrounds, employment histories, and criminal records;  
    • Reviewing applications and other documentation to determine if applicants meet criteria specified by landlords;  
    • Negotiating lease terms with tenants on behalf of landlords;  
    • Preparing lease agreements for signature by both parties, including landlords and tenants;  
    • Maintaining rental property inventories by conducting inspections of each unit on a regular basis;  
    • Doing and recording comprehensive ingoing and outgoing property inspections when lease commence / terminate;  
    • Dealing with and resolving landlord / tenant queries and disputes;  
    • Managing monthly rental payments and follow up on arrear rental payments;  
    • Growing the existing portfolio. 

    Key Competencies

    • A high level of integrity, credibility and ethics are all non-negotiable;  
    • Strong planning and organizing skills with an eye for detail;  
    • Self-motivated, energetic and passionate about Rentals;  
    • Excellent communicator;  
    • The ability to cope with pressure and setbacks is an important skill in our industry;  
    • Willingness to be available outside of normal working hours.  

    Education & Experience

    • The successful candidate should be qualified as a Full Status Estate Agent and be holding a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate issued by the PPRA.
    • The candidate must have his or her own reliable transport and be willing to work flexible hours;  
    • Your own laptop and access to reliable wifi is essential.

    Knowledge & Skills Required

    • Knowledge of the Camps Bay, Llandudno and Clifton and surrounding rental market would be beneficial but not compulsory;
    • Superior negotiation skills.
