    General Worker - Howick

    Responsibilities:

    • Execute general duties, relating but not limited to the following areas in accordance with certain standards and regulations at assembly, machine shop, fabrication and paint shop and wash bay.
    • Assist with performing ad-hoc functions as requested by supervisor.
    • Assist with cutting material, cleaning and packing of steel.
    • Assist with basic mechanical and/or technical work.
    • Responsible for cutting and bending of materials.
    • Removing of spatter from welded components.
    • Making sure that all components are hand washed and de-greased.
    • Assisting machine operators.
    • Assist in the cleaning of change rooms and factory yard.

    Requirements

    • National Senior Certificate.

     Execute and manage specific audits.

    • Conduct risk assessments.
