Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
This position works closely with Central Planning and a key output is an optimised production plan.
Furthermore this position plan all bulk requirements and liaise with the primary supplying plants in terms of constraints.
The third key focus is an optimised returnable system, focusing on communication and tracking actual performance vs Planned activities.
Responsible for a stable production plan by optimally utilising production facilities and employees.
The demand of products produced on relevant lines are managed effectively.
Incorrect Master data and BOM’s reported and corrected.
Create and manage production order reservations
Production declared technically complete – TECO.
Generate 4 week SAP production plan.
Assist with pack upgrades and change requests.
Determine planned production as needed.
Calculate the capacity needed by the production line and the shifts required
Assist with the budget/ forecast processes
Timeous distribution of production plans
Production orders are released timeously.
Daily production feedback meetings are attended.
Active involvement in the missing parts management process
Effective re-scheduling of production lines as a result of breakdowns or other quality related problems.
Compile accurate printing plans
Provide monthly consolidation of actuals vs. forecast
Liaise with bulk supply plants/departments.
Optimise bulk planning to prevent an overstock situation.
Manage bulk planning
Liaise with reverse logistics to ensure returnable material is on site in time for packaging.
Confirm with Transport to ensure efficient moving of returnables.
Ensure compliance to the QMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BRC, IFS, FSSC, Organic, ISO 17025, SANS 1841)
Ensure compliance to all relevant policies, procedures, work instruction and SOPs at all times
Ensure compliance to OHSACT and all Distell Risk, Health and Safety procedures and statutory requirements.
Ensure that unsafe conditions are reported and rectified.
Assist in achieving department and site business plans.
Support and encourage the values of the company.
Actively encourage innovations within the team
Actively involved in Problem solving methodology
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
At least 3 years’ experience in a Production Planning/MRP environment
Relevant Tertiary qualification in Planning/Logistics/Supply Chain Management
Proven record in production planning environment
Relevant experience of SAP production planning.
Excellent analytical skills and problem solving abilities
Proven Computer literacy in MS Office/ SAP / Excel
Sound knowledge of supply chain concepts
Experience in a SAP R3/R4 environment (including APO)
Ability to work under pressure and to work independently & accurately.
Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities
Ability to influence others outside his/her own sphere of control
Purpose of the Position:
Develop, manage, grow and sustain a prominent brand that delights consumers through the understanding, anticipation, creation, and meeting of consumer needs.
Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
Maintain and update Regional Brandbox input
Assisting with monthly reporting on sales and A&P budgets
Assist with country’s marketing budgets on expenditure, as well as monitoring thereof
Assist with packaging upgrade launches, assist with new SKU launches and rollouts
Assist with the procurement process of merchandise material, as well as the managing thereof
Assist with implementation of Cycles and consumer engagements
Drive gathering & storing of Regional competitor/trend information management, and assist in interpreting regional trends and competitive activities
Drive impactful and cost-effective brand campaigns
Support direct line manager with relevant and accurate analysis on brand performance and budget status
Support Marketing Manager with strategy, planning, and content development
Support brand team to grow brand equity and ensure that overall Brand Health targets achieved
Implement regional brand plan elements
Write and submit clear and timeous procurement briefs
Rollout brand elements to touchpoints including digital/social media communication and campaigns
Track and report on campaign effectiveness
Ensure merchandising & POS collateral is available and deployed as required
Create funds planning and manage campaign processes in SAP CRM
Manage specific brand campaigns from concept to execution (end to end)
Provide assistance to broader team in the execution of brand plans
Drive continuous improvement in the area of responsibility
Feedback relevant marketing insights and campaign learnings to drive improvement in campaign impact and effectiveness
Drive world-class implementation of new product launches and take corrective action where required
The successful candidate must preferably have the following experience/skills/qualifications:
Appropriate tertiary qualification – degree/diploma (i.e. BComm. IMM )
Minimum 3 years’ relevant marketing experience, ideally across a range of categories/FMCG’s
Knowledge of product pricing, packaging, distribution, and positioning
Familiarity with the latest marketing trends and best practices
Ability to conduct research and analyze data
Good organizational skills
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and sound presentation skills
Knowledge of SAP CRM as a planning and management tool for brand activity will be advantageous
Proven and appropriate brand knowledge
Computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Basic SAP knowledge
Ability to work flexible hours
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proven numerical aptitude and above-average analytical abilities
Able to work independently and under pressure
Willingness to travel
Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

Scrutinizes or checks the work done by machine.

Minimize unplanned downtime on machines and equipment.
Optimize all machines and equipment OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency).

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification with maths and science.
NQF Level 3 Packaging Diploma will be advantageous.
1-2 years’ experience in manufacturing
1-2 years’ experience in production environment
Physically healthy and strong
Knowledge of operating machines and apparatus
Knowledge of quality and Cellar administration systems
Candidates must be technically oriented
Candidate must display good communication skills
Candidate must have the ability to work under pressure.
Candidate must display sound knowledge of safe working procedures.
Purpose of the Role:
To manager and co-ordinate site Quality Control and to ensure quality analysis is conducted in compliance with Distell Standards and Specification for transformation into information.
Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
1. Optimise quality management systems and processes:
Align goals and objectives with quality strategy
Manage QAQC environment
Manage equipment reliability relevant to the role
Manage and optimise current lab systems
Develop qc procedures and work instructions
Develop qc training material

Degree or relevant NQF6 qualification with Food Tech/Biotech/An. Chem or related Science qualification

Measurement equipment

Ensure timeous supply of quality dry goods to production within agreed service levels through competent and empowered personnel.
Apply and execute effective stock management principles
Ensure control of and report on all stock variances
Effective management of dry goods and raw material
Ensure that quality & risk management standards, policies and procedures are adhered to within the department.
Ensure efficient truck and forklift utilisation.
Achieve efficient truck turnaround times.
Managing write offs and losses within the Dry goods environment.

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
A tertiary qualification within the Logistics/Warehousing study fields
3 – 4 years’ experience in a leadership role within a Dry goods and Raw Materials environment
Proven computer literacy in MS Office, especially Excel on an intermediate level of competency is essential.
Experience on the SAP administration system will be advantageous.
The ability to develop a clear vision for subordinates and involving team members in creating a shared vision.
The ability to utilise the appropriate leadership style and develop individual capabilities.
The ability to develop new ideas and to create new concepts and solutions to problems.

The ability to implement prescribed productivity and workflow methods and to ensure smooth execution of stock control within the Warehouse.

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
End to end administration of the Time & Attendance system
Ensure accuracy of the data on Time Genius before exporting to SAP for payroll payments
Conduct a simulation payroll run prior to final payroll deadline to ensure correctness of data
Compile and distribute accurate and timeous monthly overtime provision, leave and attendance reports
Ensure effective reconciliation of leave applications and time and attendance records
Ensure general personnel administration is accurate and captured timeously on the SAP administrative system
Ensure accurate updating of personnel information on the SAP administrative system and individual personnel files
Provide assistance in compiling the monthly HR reports
Ad-Hoc administration duties (payroll & benefits, birthday packs orders)
Monitor departmental expenditure against budget and report on variances
Assist in establishing sound relationships with all stakeholders
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
Relevant formal qualification in Human Resources
2 - 3 years’ experience in administrating payroll – non-negotiable
Exposure to the SAP administrative system and T&A systems will be considered advantageous
Computer literate in MS Office up to Intermediate level
Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential
Ability to work independently
Ability to garner cooperation from others
