PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

• These include: facility management, health care, hospitality, retail and food service; in addition to food and beverage. This specific role falls under the Food and Beverage division.
• Diversey is a provider of cleaning, sanitation and maintenance products, systems and services that efficiently integrate chemicals, machines and sustainability programs. Everything we do is based on the implicit belief that cleaning and hygiene are life essentials and that what we undertake constitutes a vital service.
• The role is to train customers on our products and how to use it optimally. This position is based in Cape Town.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Call customers to schedule training.
• Conduct training at Customer premises.
• Extensive travel required with long periods away from home.
• Fit and healthy -be able to stand on their feet for long periods of time.
• Record all training done with participants.
• Maintain an on-going yearly record of training done with ACE customers.
• File all copies of Training registers.
• Ensure all store DC Hygiene file is up to date.
• Do small repairs to dispensing equipment whilst in store.
• Communicate any maintenance issues that he /she cannot fix immediate when on site.
• Responsible for all the merchandising of Sealed Air material -new stores/customers.
• Replacement of old or peeling merchandising when after conducting training.
• Identify competitor products in store and report findings to relevant Sales Representative.
• Ability to deal with pressurized and tough Retail environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric Certificate
• Current Driver’s license
• Own vehicle
• Presentable, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Technical knowledge of chemical dispensing systems.
• Willing to travel extensively.
• Willing to work overtime, as and when expected by the company.
• Understanding of hygiene and cleaning practices, equipment and products.

• The individual will be responsible for management reporting and strategic business planning with the aim to support and partnering the Divisions/Functions in terms of financial results analysis, forecasting and budgeting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare management reports on a monthly/quarterly basis for the local management team.
• Analyze variances against budget and prior year and provide explanations for key variances in the full P&L and Working Capital; ensure understanding and monitoring of business performance.
• Support various functions to drive business by understanding and rationalizing the information requirements and deliver them on a timely basis.
• Assist in rolling forecasts/budget processes, and highlight any anomalies or gaps for review with management. Distributor Margin Analysis.
• Process improvements in closing processes, reporting systems, budget exercises.  Identify best practices to implement locally.
• Act as local lead for the Hyperion suite of applications (HFM, Hyperion Planning).
• Any other ad-hoc reporting as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience is required.  
• Prior experience in a FP&A role with an MNC will be advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken). 
• Highly analytical with a strong sense of numbers, with a sharp eye for detail.
• Quick learner of new systems and processes.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task while being flexible with changing demands.
• Self-starter and results-oriented individual with the confidence to take risk and partner with business leaders as required.
