    Senior Water Design Engineer

    Core Purpose

    Project leader/task leader for consulting engineering in water and sanitation related to engineering projects.
    Tasks include planning, design, tender, construction monitoring of projects as well as general responsibilities with
    respect to marking, proposals and management of staff.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Programme work and set productivity targets in discussion with the Project Manager
    • Obtain and confirm acceptance of appointments in writing
    • Prepare time/cost estimates for clients on projects

    Mechanical / Piping Design Engineer

    Core Purpose:

    KGA is currently recruiting for a Mechanical - Piping Lead engineer with extensive Multidisciplinary Engineering Management experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals or similar sectors to provide support to our client in the execution of projects. The Mechanical - Piping Lead engineer will be primarily responsible for the coordination and integration with a multi-disciplinary engineering team for the execution and delivery of mechanical / piping engineering deliverables.     CAD Draughtsperson (Roads)

    Core Purpose

    Provide support to Engineers by preparing clear and technically accurate drawings, diagrams and documents, based on design specifications using Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software.

    Key Performance Areas (KPIs)

    The successful candidate will be responsible for/should possess the following:

    • Prepare, finalise and issue drawings for preliminary, detail and construction design for all Road design and related drawings.
    • Keep a drawing register with all relevant drawings for record keeping and issuing of drawings to clients.
    • Be able to maintain the drawing standards of the Transportation Team.
    • Ensure compliance with Quality Management System.
    • Successfully apply CAD standards and ensure adherence thereto.
    • Must have knowledge of road sign designs as well as road marking applications.
    • Uses computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop drawings.
    • Consult sketches, notes, schematics, guides and other documentation to create detailed CAD drawings.
    • Follow established CAD standards in regard to layering, dimensioning, text annotations and other aspects of CAD usage.
    • Review existing CAD drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
    • Edit, rework and update CAD drawing files as required.

    • Responsible for converting existing drawings to PDF or other formats required.
    • Follow established ISO 9001 quality system with regard to filing, issue and delivery of production drawings.

    Qualifications:

    • Grade 12 (Matric) with Certificate and/or Diploma in Drafting

    • Ability to operate latest CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil3D, Civil Designer and Trafsoft Road Sign Design Unlimited).
    • Understanding various drawing file types and format changes.

    Project Administrator

    Core Purpose

    To provide project office management assistant functions to Project Managers and Project Executives. Responsible for general project and financial administration as well as administration of quality management system. Provide administrative support to the project team covering project document control including templates and documentation quality assurance, financial administration including invoicing, correspondence register, procurement and contract administration registers including sub-cons, co-cons and ESD partners, resources schedules, project reporting and performance monitoring data.
