Duties and Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance of Teaching and Learning
- Ensure compliance and quality enhancement in all teaching and learning processes and initiatives
Management and Development of Teaching Practice on Campus.
- Work to develop lecturer's teaching skills and reflective practice through a process of continuous conversation that includes the teaching portfolio, peer reviews, SETs and continuous development plan
- Implement training workshops for IC lecturer development (Specifically lecturers' reflective teaching practice and marking practice) based on Peer reviews; SETs and development plan
Teaching and Learning Culture on campus

- Manages the new student transfer process in conjunction with Head: Student Recruitment, Marketing Assistants and other relevant stakeholder, and thereafter sends to the finance department for processing (from admission to registration).
- Processes new student SLP & NQP registrations as required by Head: Student Recruitment
- Takes ownertship of the external credit application process for new students once application has been submitted - supports student with application to the Hub and responsible for follow up until outcome is received by student
- Checks the National Senior Certificate (NSC) exception reports on a weekly basis.
- Follows up on all outstanding documentation and uploads once received.
- Ensures compliance of international students from a document perspective.
- Adheres to the International Student Policy/Procedure and updates reports regularly.
- Re-audits all registration files in line with the stipulated deadline for the Data Verification Report.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Administration/Collections/Handovers
- Processing of adjustments in line with supporting documents provided by credit controller team. Ensure adjustments are reviewed,accurate, valid and complete.
- Accurately processing of weekly banking from the cash office (Credit/Debit /Cash Payments).
- Support Debtors Manager and National Senior Credit Controller in ensuring the campus team achieves set target for set period and proactively engage with National Senior Credit Controller in directing team activities to meet set targets.
- Support Debtors Manager and National Senior Credit Controller with regards to overseeing the formal performance inprovement plan (PIP) of credit controller team when necessary and track requirements as set out in the plan.
- Responsible for oversight and supervision of credit controller team functions, deliverables, quality and output. Excalibur to be specifically used by enire team. Report back to National Senior Credit Controller on team functions and performance.
- Responsible for updating of bursary tracker and agreeing bursaries on tracker to what has been processed in D365 and SIS by credit controllers
- Attend to queries escalated by credit control Team.
