    Operations Finance Controller / Accountant

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Managing Financials - Responsible for the accuracy of all plant financials including production volume, conversion costs, material usage variance, and standard costs
    • Reporting & Analysis - Provides accurate, actionable, and timely financial reporting, variance analysis, and commentary that leads to an understanding of the IO performance, enabling improved decision making and identification of opportunities
    • Planning - Partner with the IO Teams on the development of periodic forecasts based on fact or sound judgment
    • Capital Management - Supports capital investment requests by providing accurate financial analysis that meets profitability goals
    • Accelerate & Other Projects - Identifies areas of opportunity in the business associated with continuous improvement in areas of financial performance, business acumen, processes, standard work, systems, and other areas. Provide financial insights on project plans and actual performance v targets. 
    • IO PMO - Provide project management support for Integrated Office projects and Site Leadership team. This support includes but is not limited to scope definition, planning, status reporting & tracking, and risk management. In conjunction with the Plant Leadership Team drive results to ensure on time deployment of the project with the Plant and highlight when and what support is needed if issues arise whilst managing risks and removing blockages that might impact delivery.
    • People - Lead and coach the Plant Accountants, support team members with regional queries and key decisions to make decisions actionable
    • Strategic business partner for the Integrated Operations Leadership Team
    • Leads the development and delivery of financial performance results of the IO Team
    • Leads the Capital planning and post CAPEX evaluation for Capital Projects
    • Coordinate with the operations leadership to refine, develop, and implement standard operating procedures
    • Coordinate refinement of accounting policies and procedures as they relate to the manufacturing locations
    • Collaborate with the finance leadership team to continuously improve the operations finance processes
    • Coordinate with finance peers to ensure the timely and accurate completion of forecasts and actual results reporting
    • Provide leadership in the conversion cost allocation methodology

    Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

    • Degree or professional certificate in Accountancy / Finance with at least 5 - 8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required; familiarity with data query/data management tools extremely helpful (Microsoft Word, Power Point, Access, SQL, Business Objects)
    • Knowledge of ERP, ideally SAP and related data analysis tools are an added advantage
    • Exposure to manufacturing environments
    • Strong project management skills essential with broad understanding of functional workings of each department within a standalone business
    • Self-starter who can manage fluctuating workloads and projects using a high degree of initiative
    • Strong team player with a clear focus on stakeholder engagement and solution delivery

    Key Account Manager

    About the role

    The Key Account Manager will focus on identifying opportunities and creating sustainable profitability for Kerry within the Beverage market with specific focus on key accounts.

    Key responsibilities

    • Manage and strengthen customer relationships with Kerry, including overseeing all customer activities in accordance with customer segmentation guidelines. 
    • Complete commercial agreements with customers in compliance with Kerry guidelines. 
    • Develop and execute strategic plan to optimise the use of all Kerry    technologies. Secure agreement and execute pricing plans. 
    • Provide input to and ensure staff compliance with all applicable Kerry systems/processes. 
    • Participate in the development, implementation and achievement of annual budgets. Monitor any variances and work closely with the Sales 
    • Operations team to improve overall customer satisfaction. 
    • Analyse business trends to develop business growth strategy and manage total opportunity pipeline. 

    Business Development

    • Direct all sales efforts as Key Account Manager for assigned customers.
    • Manage key customer relationships and negotiate customer agreements that deliver against annual operating plans aligned with End Use Market, Channel, G Account, Emerging Markets, Regional House Accounts or Technology strategies.
    • Create sustainable growth for Kerry and our customers

    Qualifications and skills

    • Minimum 5 years Sales Management experience in the Beverage/Ingredients industry. 
    • Language proficiency in English.  
    • Ability to travel locally and internationally for business 
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications 
    • A Bachelor’s Degree 
    • Basic forecasting

    Instrumentation Technician

    Key responsibilities

    • Perform instrumentation maintenance activities associated with process plant, gas turbine drivers, pressure gas re-injection compressors, high pressure well site equipment, terminal and ship loading facilities.
    • Implement effective equipment maintenance. 
    • Liaise with operations, other maintenance groups and contractors for new projects, modifications, substitution of old equipment etc.
    • Perform analysis and diagnosis to provide solutions to instrumentation problems.
    • Ensure materials used are in accordance with specifications.
    • Analyze plant maintenance activities; recommend modifications. 
    • Provide technical support to instrumentation technicians.
    • Ensure safe and reliable power to all plant processes.
    • Modify and implement computer software programs for data logging and control.
    • Maintain efficient records on operations and activities; coordinate and prepare a variety of reports.
    • Estimate time, materials, and equipment required for projects; coordinate purchase of required materials.
    • Work with management in establishing and overseeing goals and objectives for assigned unit.
    • Consult manufacturers' manuals to determine test and maintenance procedures.
    • Use pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devices to inspect and test instrument and system operation and diagnose faults.
    • Consult with and advise process operators.
    • Train apprentices
    • Repair, maintain and adjust system components or remove and replace defective parts.
    • Calibrate and maintain components and instruments according to manufacturers' specifications.
    • Install and maintain instruments on new or existing plant equipment and processes.

    Qualifications and skills

    • Minimum Diploma in Instrument & Control, Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, Process Technology or relevant studies 
    • Minimum 3 years' experience in similar job functions

    Customer Care Manager South Africa (Hillcrest)

    About the Role:

    The Customer Care Manager is a self-starter with ambition, vision and a commitment to excellence in a dynamic business environment, whose role is to achieve and sustain growth and drive efficiencies and improvements on a long-term basis in the Customer Care function.     • Customer care experience within a manufacturing background is essential 
    • Strong strategic and customer focused mentality with a clear understanding of the wider issues impacting the relevant markets
    • Proven relationship management experience at a senior, strategic level role
    • Established track record of exceeding targets, in a quality-led, legislative-compliant environment
    • Proven experience in leading and managing complex projects in a structured approach 
    • Excellent English speaking and writing skills, proficient in other local languages an advantage
    • In-dept knowledge and experience in the SAP ERP system
