Main Purpose of Job

• To ensure enterprise-wide solution architect support on IT/OT environment, the interface for Mine Technical Systems, solution designs, architectures, security, governance and risk management

Desired Qualifications

• An undergraduate qualification (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM discipline and/or Technical competencies and certification with relevant years of experience in a similar role.

Experience

• 5-10 years working experience in a Solutions Architect role.
• Solution Architecture designs and processes.
• TOGAF and/or Zachman framework experience and certification.
• Interpret business requirements into solution design architecture.
• Mining solution designs.

Key Performance Areas

• Solution Designs, blueprints and architectures for Mining systems across the Mining Value Chain.
• Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs for the IT/OT organisation and manage changes to such specifications.
• Lead the process to take a solution and implement into Azure Cloud working with Global IM teams and vendors.
• Input into the technical product roadmaps for all architecture designs and solutions.
• Develop business and technology standards and best practices for II/OT.
• Manage the effectiveness, efficiency and overall service performance across enterprise architecture services.
• Ensure customer satisfaction is high and maintained in areas of solution designs and architectures with security in place.
• Own a monthly, global, service delivery review with the relevant business stakeholders, vendors, with input from the regions.
• Advise all the technical tracks for Microsoft Azure services.
• Act as a single point of contact for Architecture, Solution Designs, Cloud solutions and Security Maintenance and support of solutions.

Main Purpose of Job

The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, planning, driving and the documentation of the business requirements and functional requirements for Krypton’s mining clients. Will be part of various cross functional teams that drives digitalisation for international mining houses. Required to be knowledgeable in both business and systems analysis for digital mining solutions.

Desired Qualifications

• BSc Computer Science, BSc. Information Technology or an undergraduate qualification in a relevant IT Discipline.
• Microsoft and Azure certifications (optional).
• SQL Database experience (optional).

Experience

• 3-5 years working experience in application of both business and systems analysis for mining solutions.
• Experience with Mining Systems.
• IT and ICT solution design and delivery experience.
• Basic IT skills to support hardware, software and understanding of networks.
• Systems Analysis skills, Process mapping and Requirements elicitation.
• Experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) will be advantageous.
• Exposure to Agile software development.

Main Purpose of Job

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, verifying and document business requirements using applicable methodology and tools as well as participate in project execution activities, define test packs and participate in User Acceptance Testing. Provide 1st line solution support and solution training for business processes and solutions in domain.

Desired Qualifications

• BSc Information Technology.
• B Degree (Relevant).
• Diploma in Business Analysis (Preferable).
• Certificate First Line Management (Preferable).

Experience

• 3 – 5 years’ relevant Business process and Business analysis (Information Management) experience.Strong SQL and Python programming skills.
• Mining sector experience preferable.

• Identify gaps between new and existing business processes and applications and liaise with Solution Architects for resolution.
• Support project team members with systems knowledge, define test packs and drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure business requirements are met throughout project execution.
