    Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Assistant x2 - (995) - 2 positions

    Key Performance Areas:

    M&E system management & implementation 

    • Work in collaboration with M&E and project teams to implement M&E activities at district and provincial levels in line with organisational and donor requirements 
    • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of all M&E activities, including site level data collection, timely submission and reporting in DHIS2 and donor databases, data quality audit and improvement plans, report generation, analysis and interpretation
    • Manage data entry and extractions as required for project monitoring
    • Conduct periodic site data quality checks, identify and implement requisite interventions to ensure data quality and efficient data collection from site level.
    • Coordinate the supply, production, and distribution of electronic and printed client management M&E tools for all m2m sites

    Quality Improvement and Capacity Building 

    • Encourage and ensure the routine utilisation of m2m data at all levels
    • Working with the Senior SI Coordinator and project team, provide routine (monthly, quarterly) programmatic data and analysis to inform identification of quality improvement needs and implement improvement plans. Facilitate routine programme reviews informed by data.
    • Lead M&E training of Community Peer Mentors and Community Coordinators and provide ongoing capacity building on m2m M&E, data documentation, monthly data compilation and data quality check techniques.
    • Develop and implement roll-out plans for newly developed tools
    • Provide technical assistance to m2m frontline staff as well as provincial staff on use of electronic client management tools
    • Conduct supportive supervision visits to facility and community staff, in coordination with program/technical staff.

    Reporting and Project Support 

    • Support documentation of lessons learned, reporting, and presentation
    • Lead M&E data reporting for donors/projects and internal reporting
    • Participate in routine data compilation and reporting as required
    • Support quarterly and annual programme evaluation exercises
    • Work with the project team to ensure learning and replication of good practices, based on routine programme reviews
    • Support other M&E activities as assigned

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Public Health, Social Sciences, Demography, Biostatistics) 
    • Minimum of five years’ experience in program monitoring and evaluation, with specific M&E experience in  TB , RMNCH, HIV/AIDS, or other relevant public health/social science programmes
    • Demonstrated experience in the implementation and management of M&E systems, involving capacity building for site-level staff, as well as monitoring and promotion of data quality and use of data for decision making and quality improvement
    • Experience in programming and analysis of data using programs such as SAS, SPSS, Epi-Info, STATA or others 
    • Demonstrated experience in M&E reporting to USG/PEPFAR and other bilateral or multilateral donors strongly preferred
    • Proven ability to mentor programme staff in M&E, data use for decision-making and quality improvement
    • Sound knowledge of South African District Health Information Systems framework. 
    • Experience conducting data quality audits in the health sector
    • Experience supporting the use of electronic client management tools strongly preferred

    Assets and Fleet Controller - 2 positions

    Key Performance Areas:

    Asset Management

    • Asset Verification, tagging and updating of the CHAMP Fixed Asset Register 
    • Initiating documenting asset disposition in line with USAID rules and regulations
    • Preparing audit requests and samples on CHAMP 
    • Delegated authority to approve vehicle requests
    • Asset safekeeping and security
    • Other asset management support duties, as may be necessary. 

    Fleet Management

    • Help manage organizational fleet and support in the procurement for vehicle rental and support in the             management subsequent contract;
    • Work with security to ensure that mileage is logged and submit all vehicle logbooks;

    Vehicle and Asset insurance management

    • Conduct stock count and reconciliation

    Competencies required

    Smart Learning Management System Admin - 2 positions

    Key Performance Areas: 

    • Management of course content. This will primarily entail uploading content developed by m2mSLS Learning Design Specialists and resources provided from other sources but may involve some content creation as well.
    • Maintaining pathways and restrictions within courses to ensure smooth user experiences.
    • Testing and QA activities to ensure all products and services are operating as intended.
    • Totara TXP administration tasks, such as setting-up and maintaining user accounts. 
    • Dealing with the Totara TXP helpdesk and supporting users with queries.
    • Finding solutions to problems and liaising with the Totara Community and support infrastructure, as well as third-party suppliers where necessary.
    • Log performance issues and escalate as required.
    • Responsible for creating and issuing new reports from Totara TXP.
    • Offering training and support for Totara TXP users and other stakeholders.
    • Suggest improvements that will reduce manual tasks and escalate issues, ideas, and potential solutions within the wider m2mSLS and DPTS teams.
    • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders – internally and externally. 
    • Working on Totara TXP-related projects as required.
    • Additional tasks deemed to be fair and reasonable and fall within the remit of the m2mSLS team.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • At least 2 years’ experience as a System Administrator.
    • A sound understanding of Totara TXP - including the administration of Totara TXP - demonstrated through the successful completion of all required Totara TXP courses from Totara Academy.
    • A demonstrable understanding of developing bespoke instances of Totara TXP.
    • Experience of development outside of the standard functionality of Totara TXP.
    • Experience in managing course content within an LMS system.
    • Experience in working collaboratively with colleagues to build capability across all stakeholders (including users) of m2mSLS.

    Senior Manager, m2mSLS - 2 positions

    Key Performance Areas: 

    Leadership and Management:

    • Set a clear strategic direction for the m2mSLS unit, aligning it with the organisation's goals and objectives.

    • Establish and oversee quality assurance processes within the team to ensure that all curricula meet best practice standards.
    • Incorporate insights from user testing into the curriculum development process, ensuring that the learning solutions are user-friendly and effective.
    • Inform the intellectual property (IP) policy and oversee the content licensing and permissions process, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and protection of intellectual property.

    • Support management of the asset tracking process meticulously, ensuring that all resources and content are accounted for; and oversee royalty payments as applicable.

    Project Management:

    • Execute projects efficiently, ensuring that curriculum designs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Identify and address bottlenecks promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.

    • Collaborate with the Director of Programmes and Technical Support to set the annual budget for the m2mSLS Unit.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree, plus 5+ years of relevant experience in learning design / learning and development, public health, education, or a related field. Masters Degree preferred.
    • 3+ years in a mid-senior role with team leadership/management experience.
    • Demonstrated success in learning design, and a functional understanding of learning technology.
    • Demonstrated experience in online and blended learning methodologies, and how this is translated into capacity building in low tech and last mile communities and contexts.
    • Project management experience, and the ability to develop and manage budgets.
    • Knowledge of public health-related topics is desirable.

    Learning Design Specialist - 2 positions

    Key Performance Areas: 

    Leadership and Management:

    • Support the recruitment and onboarding of all Learning Design team members, including permanent staff, freelancers, contract workers and/or consultants.
    • Lead, mentor and grow a team of effective Learning Designers.
    • Apply agile practices to allocate team resources efficiently, balancing workloads and skill sets to ensure projects are completed effectively and on time.

    • Proven skills and experience in learning design and the development of learner-centred digital learning experiences and resources.
    • Practical knowledge of digital learning principles and practices, as well as current and future trends in digital technologies.
    • Demonstrated experience in smart learning design, quality assurance and quality improvement.
    • Demonstrated project management skills in the development of digital content for online courses / curricula.
    • Knowledge of public health-related topics is a strong demonstration.
