    Trace Agent Mr Price Money

    About the Job

    Purpose

    • The Trace Agent is responsible for improving debtor contact and collections/recoveries by tracing uncontactable customers whose accounts are in arrears.

    Key responsibilities

    Tracing:

    • Effectively managing assigned cases for debtor profiling
    • Utilizing a wide range of search engines, tools, and support services to optimise right party contact.
    • Tracing, locating and contacting absconded and delinquent customers to collect on arears
    • Assertively handle calls to difficult debtors to ensure that all promise to pay (PTP) are honored
    • Ensure quality of work is in line with service level agreements (SLA's)
    • Maintaining strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing debt collection practices.

    Updating Personal Information:

    • Accurately updating customers' personal, employment and contact details to ensure right party and regular contact when collecting on overdue accounts
    • Conducting thorough and accurate debtor research and ensuring proper case preparation for contacting the right party.

    What are the requirements

    Education:

    • Grade: 12

    Experience:

    • A minimum of 6 - 12 months Experience in Collections/Recoveries
    • Recoveries Tracing Tools (TU direct, XDS etc.) experience (advantageous)

    Knowledge/ Skills:

    • Computer Literate (MS Office) an intermediate level
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Self-motivated and target driven.
    • Problem-solving skills.
    • Persuasive / influencing skills
    • High degree of accuracy

    Key responsibilities
    Strategic Development

    • Continuously monitor and track completion of feasibility studies from divisions to ensure that it is coming through the pipeline
      Use research and data analytics to contribute to the annual store review

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Acts as the interlink between the real estate and landlords to ensure smooth business operations.
    • Build & maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to contribute to and influence decision-making with regards to financial management and external providers to ensure satisfactory standards of service.

    Budgeting and Financials

    • Monitor and track divisional budgets, expenses and projects to maintain a view of costs across the business and ensure accuracy of reporting.
    • Provide expertise and advice to management to assist with budget development, financial reporting, forecasts, projections and control

    Reporting

    • Provide regular reports, feedback and updates to management
    • Completion of quarterly board packs through liaison of divisional stakeholders
    • Assess risks and makes recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a business situation and reports on these as Risk Champion

    Requirements

    • Registered Chartered Accountant with 2 – 3 years post articles experience

    Your purpose

    • Lead and manage the daily operations of your store to ensure that the overall objectives which include store targets, innovation initiatives and customer service standards are met and exceeded.

    Key responsibilities:

    Stock Management:

    • Ensure that stock is accurately received & unpacked to merchandise and replenish the sales floor.

    • 4 + years with credit risk analytics experience or a similar data analytics role in a dynamic fast moving industry.
    • Strategic thinking, data management and variance analysis.
    • SAS, SQL and related database tools such as Microsoft Access, advanced Excel.
    • Understanding or knowledge of decision agents would be an advantage.
    • An analytical mind-set with excellent communication and problem solving skills.
    • Modelling skills in respect of credit risk scorecards.
    • Great understanding of the credit lifecycle and regulations within the consumer credit markets.
