The objective of this role is to conduct planning and execution of investigative fieldwork. To maintain accurate and complete information on the electronic case management system. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts.
The role will be responsible for:
- Plans and executes forensic work under supervision and per appropriate forensic methodology and/or best practice
- Maintains accurate and complete information of forensic work on the electronic case/project management system
- Drafts reports with findings and recommendations
- Manages client and stakeholder relationships under supervision

Minimum requirements for the role:
- Matric /Grade 12 is essential
- Fraud Examiner certificate and/or Forensic, Law, Accounting or Information Technology related qualification is required
- 3 - 5 years working experience in the field of Forensic investigations is a pre-requisite, of which at least 2 years’ experience in the Financial Services Sector is essential
- At least 2 years’ Forensic experience in working in a corporate environment is (also) essential
- At least 2 years’ experience in claims assessment and/or investigations (funeral, life & disability) will be advantageous
- Forensic experience within the Banking Sector will also be advantageous
- Experience in investigating syndicates will be an added advantage
- Self-starter, able to show initiative and work with minimal guidance
- Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Solution-driven, passionate, and energetic
