    Insure Adviser | Sandton, Gauteng | Permanent

    Job description:

    • The Adviser is responsible for the selling of short-term commercial and personal insurance products and services to the right clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Selling of short-term products specialising in commercial and personal lines
    • Quotations for clients
    • Follow up on leads
    • Building a client base
    • Advising clients on their short-term insurance needs
    • Handling of incoming and outgoing calls
    • Renewal of policies
    • Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients, product providers, colleagues etc.
    • On-site meeting with clients
    • Dealing with service providers
    • Implement company strategy

    Minimum Requirements:

    • NQF Level 4/5  – Full qualification (short-term insurance) as set by regulation

    Paraplanner

    Job description:

    • This is an opportunity to join a well-established office and team which is growing rapidly. We require a Paraplanner to provide an efficient administrative support function to Advisers.
    • This role bridges the gap between administration and advisory functions — enhancing the quality of advice delivered, improving operational efficiency, and contributing to an exceptional client experience.
    • The Paraplanner supports both pre- and post-advice processes and ensures technical accuracy across all advice documentation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Financial Planning and Technical Support
    • Prepare accurate and compliant financial plans based on client objectives, needs, and risk profiles.
    • Conduct detailed cashflow analyses, retirement projections, and financial modelling to support adviser recommendations.
    • Research and evaluate investment products, portfolios, and strategies, considering tax and legislative implications.
    • Ensure all advice documents and supporting materials comply with FAIS, FICA, and internal compliance standards.
    • Compile comparative analyses and scenario modelling to support advice formulation.
    • Assist with implementation documentation and ensure correct reflection of client instructions post-advice.
    • Client Review and Reporting
    • Prepare and update client portfolio review reports in line with investment performance and changing client circumstances.
    • Draft and format review presentations, Records of Advice, and summary reports for adviser delivery.
    • Monitor portfolio performance and identify variances or inconsistencies relative to client objectives.
    • Maintain review schedules and ensure timely preparation of all required review documentation.
    • Adviser and Front Office Support
    • Provide technical support to Wealth Advisers and Adviser Administrators before and after client meetings.
    • Maintain accurate CRM data, ensuring all client records, plans, and compliance documents are up to date.
    • Support advisers in client strategy sessions by preparing summary packs, illustrations, and scenario outputs.
    • Attend client meetings when required to provide technical input and clarification.
    • Collaborate with administration and compliance teams to ensure full adherence to regulatory requirements.
    • Operational and Compliance Responsibilities
    • Ensure all financial planning and client documentation aligns with PSG’s compliance framework.
    • Verify that assumptions, calculations, and recommendations are supported by valid data and justifiable reasoning.
    • Maintain an audit-ready record of all client planning and reporting documentation.
    • Stay informed of regulatory updates, product changes, and industry developments that may affect advice.
    • Collaboration and Relationship Management
    • Work closely with Wealth Advisers, Adviser Assistants, and Administrators to ensure seamless client service.
    • Liaise with product providers and research teams to obtain required data and documentation.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of advice templates, workflows, and review processes.
    • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence within the advisory practice.

    Minimum requirements:

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • CFP and/or Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning/ Degree in Investment Management (Preferred)
    • 2-4 years’ experience in a wealth management, advisory or paraplanning environment
    • Exposure to Investment analysis, cashflow modelling, and financial planning processes
    • Experience in both individual and group-to-individual transitions (Advantageous)

    Competencies:

    • Strong analytical and numerical reasoning.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent written communication and report-writing ability.
    • Sound understanding of investment, retirement, and financial planning principles.
