    Senior Investment Officer - Investment Bank Industry - R1Mil - R900K

    Description

    • RPO Recruitment's client is seeking a Senior Investment Officer to join their team in Sandton, Gauteng. As the Senior Investment Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the investment portfolio of the company's clients. The successful candidate must have extensive experience in investment management, strong analytical skills and an ability to build successful relationships with clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Managing investment pipelines
    • Assisting with origination and negotiation of investments
    • Drafting of investment term sheets
    • Due diligence of prospective investees, including, inter alia, detailed financial analysis, management meetings and arranging third party due diligence
    • Preparation of screening memos and investment memos
    • Understanding and applying inter alia, investment guidelines, investment committee decisions and E&S policies
    • Working with legal counsel to negotiate final investment agreements.
    • Working with internal and external stakeholders
    • Supporting fund raising
    • Support the growth of the fund business, including overall.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
    • 7+ years of experience in investment management.
    • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Proven ability to manage investment portfolios and teams.
    • Knowledge of Financial institutions analysis, Mezzanine or structured credit investing and Impact investing.

    Description

    • RPO Recruitment's client is an electrical company, which is looking for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join their team in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu–Natal.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identifying potential suppliers
    • Screen new supplier leads and determine viability or make recommendations
    • Requesting and evaluating quotes or proposals from suppliers
    • Negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers in consultation with management
    • Place orders with approved vendors
    • Contract management
    • Ensure compliance with ISO9001 standards, policies, procedures and controls
    • Build strong working relationships with suppliers and company stakeholders
    • Liaison with various internal departments such as Finance, Engineering, R&D, Production and Management to maintain smooth flow of operations
    • Resolve account queries and discrepancies with receipt of materials from Suppliers
    • Track orders to ensure timeous delivery of goods and services
    • Conduct regular supplier evaluations against set criteria and conduct on-site audits as required
    • Analyze market trends and propose actions to mitigate risk to the organization
    • Maintain the approved supplier list

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Three-year degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration
    • Proven purchasing/procurement experience
    • Advanced Syspro and Microsoft office skills (Excel)
    • Working knowledge of import procedures/regulations
    • Analytical thinker that works well under pressure
    • Organized with high attention to detail and result orientated
    • Exceptional administrative and time management skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrate leadership ability
    • Own reliable transport
    • Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry desired, but not essential

    • RPO Recruitment's client is a great mining company in Northern Cape, which is urgently seeking the expertise of a Hydraulic Fitter to join their team in Kuruman.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct fitting work which supports maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and installations of mechanical equipment per work orders and breakdown work orders.
    • Consider direct environment risks.
    • Complete daily inspection checklists for tools, equipment and work areas.
    • Report problems and make recommendations to Supervisors.
    • Maintain workshop area, equipment, tools and toolbox.

    Requirements

    • Diesel Mechanic Trade Test Certificate
