    Workshop Administrator Electrical - Riverhorse Durban (Longmeadow)

    • We are looking for ambitious individual to be part of a dynamic team, focused on improving business opportunities and customer experience.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Co-ordinate the planning and scheduling for all electrical work streams, including the testing and planned programmes.
    • Ensuring systems are updated within prescribed timescales, accurately analysing, and managing associated data
    • Produce and present reports, capturing and resolving errors
    • Work in collaboration with the Electrical Management Team, Schedulers and Compliance Team to develop quality assurance and identify improvements
    • Customer Communication and Support
    • Processing and Dispatching Warranty Claim Stock
    • Managing All Administrative Duties
    • Reviewing and Finalizing Workshop Reports
    • Assigning Stock to Workshop Jobs
    • Maintaining and Updating Repair Logs and Customer Records
    • Candidate should have a proven record as an Administrator in a repair’s environment and be a highly motivated individual with a passion to succeed.

    Requirements

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Intermediate/Advanced Excel and Microsoft Package Qualifications, Accpacc experience advantageous
    • Extensive administration experience, working in a target driven environment
    • Experience within a repairs or construction environment; diagnosing and logging repairs, data entry and scheduling software knowledge

    Repairs Technician (Workshop) Longmeadow (Longmeadow)

    Description

    Repairs Technician Longmeadow

    • We are seeking an experienced repairs technician who will be responsible for repairing and testing all our electrical products. Incumbent will assist with fault-finding on equipment and ensure repairs are completed within the specified timeframe ensuring excellent customer service.

    Key Performance Arears

    • Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
    • Troubleshooting, repairing malfunctioning equipment: - Electronics, Inverters, UPS and AVR’s.
    • Report writing skills.
    • Handling customer technical enquiries.
    • Troubleshooting and repairs on customer products
    • Running back orders and ensuring repairs are conducted within specified turnaround time as per repair policy
    • Consistently perform in a manner that ensures deadlines are met for all repairs performed
    • Stock control within the workshop using hand tools and measuring equipment, oscilloscopes, multimeter etc.
    • Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
    • Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
    • Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment
    • Examining customers' appliances and identifying the cause of appliance breakdowns.
    • Performing maintenance work on customers' appliances.
    • Providing rough estimates to customers on how much it would cost to repair damaged or malfunctioning appliances.
    • Repairing or replacing defective or damaged appliance components upon approval from customers.
    • Advising customers on how to use appliances correctly.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience repairing, installing, and maintaining home appliances.
    • The ability to use various hand tools.
    • The ability to stand for extended periods.
    • The ability to lift heavy objects.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
