    Process Technician - EBM

    MAIN PURPOSE:

    • Provide first-line operational support to ensure that quality standards are maintained, and production efficiency targets are met.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure proper and procedural start-up and shut down of machines.
    • Ensure that Colour and resin material changes are done as per the production plan.
    • Ensure that preforms are produced to the correct quality standards.
    • Optimize and monitor machine process parameters and cycle times to ensure that they are within the set guidelines.
    • Do basic troubleshooting of machine processing, quality and technical issues.
    • Execute Setups, material and Colour changes.
    • Execute daily, weekly and monthly machine maintenance.
    • Do shift reports and ensure that shift hand over is done with all relevant information, including safety, housekeeping, process and other technical issues.
    • Capture downtime codes and reasons on the ProLink accurately.
    • Investigate causes for machine downtimes while on shift and give a proper report.
    • Assist the team with production tasks to ensure that the production targets are met.
    • Ensure and carry out housekeeping activities to ensure high level of cleanliness of the equipment and its surroundings.
    • Ensure the necessary process parameters are captured, and records are correctly maintained.
    • Interact with production team, identify and resolve issues as they arise
    • Work closely with the shift QCs to approve the product quality during the first offs.
    • Report technical requirements and equipment breakdowns to the process engineer and maintenance coordinator.

    • Grade 12 / Matric
    • Post Matric qualification in a technical field (Mechanical / Electrical)
    • Knowledge of and insight into mechanical operation of machines
    • Knowledge of extrusion blow moulding and processing

    • Experience in quality control testing

    HR and Operations Assistant

    What you will enjoy doing

    • The Operational Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the operations team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day business operations by managing tasks like data entry, data reconciliation, report generation as well as supporting the broader business, particularly the controlling and internal sales needs of the site.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    General Administration

    • Support all departments with administration where necessary (Filing, reporting etc.)

    Payroll and HR Coordination:

    • Ensuring confidentiality, facilitate the flow of information from the operations team to the outsourced payroll team. Ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
    • Handle payroll-related queries and escalate issues to the payroll administrator when necessary.
    • Maintain and update confidential employee records (Digital and hard copy)
    • Assist in recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews.
    • Schedule and facilitate onboarding activities.
    • Coordinate and support training sessions, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
    • Maintain the monthly leave records
    • Act as a point of contact for basic HR-related concerns, including medical aid and retirement benefit queries.
    • Act as point of contact, escalating complex issues to HR as needed.

    Customer Service, CTO and Plant Admin Support:

    • Review and capture sales orders on the relevant systems.
    • Monitor stock levels and coordinate purchase orders.
    • Assist with invoicing and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
    • Oversee the accurate reporting of data in organizational systems.
    • Ensure alignment between physical inventory and system records.
    • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
    • Identify and address inefficiencies in administrative processes.

    QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Minimum Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification (diploma or degree)
    • Proven experience in an administrative role,
    • Experience in data management and reporting within a manufacturing environment (Advantageous).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems.
    • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

    Learning And Development Coordinator

    What you will enjoy doing

    • The Learning and Development Coordinator will provide administrative support for learning and development initiatives and ensure compliance with South African labour legislation through accurate HR recordkeeping, SETA submissions, and audit preparation. This role supports the HR team in fulfilling reporting obligations under the Skills Development Act, Employment Equity Act, and B-BBEE framework.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Learning and Development Administration:

    • Assist in the coordination of internal and external training programmes, including bookings, logistics, and attendance tracking.
    • Maintain updated training records and employee development plans on HR systems.
    • Support the preparation and submission of the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) to relevant SETAs.
    • Administer learnerships, internships, and bursary programmes to support skills development and B-BBEE targets.
    • Compile and file training evaluations and feedback reports.
    • Help prepare documentation for training audits and SETA verifications.

    HR Audit and Compliance Administration:

    • Ensure employee files and records are accurate, updated, and stored in line with POPIA and audit standards.
    • Assist in preparing and updating compliance reports, including Employment Equity (EE) Reports and B-BBEE evidence files.
    • Coordinate logistics and documentation for Employment Equity Committee meetings.
    • Support internal audits by compiling requested HR documentation and tracking findings/resolutions.
    • Maintain records related to statutory reporting: UIF, SARS (PAYE), SDL, COIDA, etc.
    • Monitor compliance checklists and update HR dashboards for reporting.

    Legislative Frameworks:

    • Skills Development Act and Skills Development Levies Act
    • Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA)
    • Labour Relations Act (LRA)
    • Employment Equity Act (EEA)
    • B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice
    • Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • National Diploma in Human Resource Management / Business Administration or equivalent is preferred
    • ETDP SETA short course or understanding
    • 2+ years in an HR administrative or compliance role
    • Experience working with HR systems
    • Exposure to SETA reporting or B-BBEE verification processes
