Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible to support and measure logistics, planning, warehouse, stock control and risk performance
• Extract and analyse information from key systems offering valuable insights and present recommendations and enhancements
• Provide administrative support to the Warehouse team whilst shadowing and learning from them
• Assist with the processing of orders on CAMS
• Provide friendly and empathetic communication, primarily through email, to customers on status of orders and assist in problem solving to satisfy their order requirements
• Communicate with internal and external sources to ensure effective order fulfilment

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric with Math
• Forklift Drivers Licence will be advantageous 
• Continuous learning - A curious mind and have willingness to learn

Purpose of this Role:

• To provide mechanical maintenance support to minimize production downtime and ensure efficiency and quality within the Tufting department.
• They work closely with the Tufting Manager overseeing the shifts to ensure they are running well through communication with the team and delegation of tasks with the Mechanicians on site for daily tasks to be carried out accordingly.

Key Accountabilities and Outputs:

• Carries out looper, knife and needle change accurately
• Carry out general maintenance on all machines
• Responsible for carrying out product change overs according to the product specifications
• Assist with Installations within the Tufting department
• Performs fault finding on machines during breakdowns
• Responsible for performing technical procedures on machines accurately
• Must work within the company rules
• Must follow procedure for primary backing changes on machines accurately to reduce any damage to the machine
• Responsible for increasing and decreasing the widths on machine when following seaming plans to ensure customer needs are met as per product specifications
• Responsible for all relevant maintenance documents, technical documents and logbooks such as breakdown slips, Time shifts and Toolbox talks.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Matric 
• Completed a CTFL /Carpet Technology.
• 5-8 years working experience in a similar role is essential
• Ability to work on heights
• Ability to work in confined spaces due to operational requirements
• Ability to work in standing position for extended hours
• Must be comfortable working on elevated surfaces
• Must be flexible to working extended hours
• Ability to tube and label a creel in the correct sequence.
