    IT Officer/Technician

    Job Description

    • Installation of Hardware and Software
    • Fixing of Server problems when necessary
    • Fixing of database problems when necessary
    • Setting up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices
    • Checking computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
    • Installing and configuring appropriate software and functions according to specifications
    • Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
    • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
    • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
    • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
    • Provide Desktop Support when necessary
    • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)

    Qualifications

    • Matric
    • Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field
    • Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
    • In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
    • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
    • Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
    • Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
    • Own reliable transport
    • Must be willing and able to work more than just office hours depending on workload and designated region time differences
    • Well presented
    • Strong communication skills and IT fluency

    Fire Detection Commissioning Technician

    Job Description
    Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:  

    • Planning and Project Implementation:
    • Ensure proper pre-planning and adjust to the constant changes on site
    • Follow the site installation plan of action
    • Prepare site for commissioning
    • Installation of equipment on site
    • Ensure that handover deadlines are met

    Site Management:

    • Promote safe working practises and ensure safe working conditions
    • Manage projects effectively and profitably (Minimize wastage of resources, equipment and cabling)
    • Ensure that stock requirements are communicated daily to the stock department 
    • Ensure accurate commissioning of systems/sites within project budget/time limits
    • Ensure high quality level of all installations and workmanship
    • Provide supervision of team on site
    • Ensure effective management of team and resources on site.
    • Attend all site meetings
    • Ensure that all Vehicles/Tools/Equipment is in working order on site and your vehicle and that any identified issues are communicated immediately.

    Project Admin:

    • Detailed capturing of as-built details on site drawings.
    • Timeously submit Job Cards for invoicing
    • Complete and manage all Health & Safety file requirements on site.
    • Detailed daily feedback of every active project.
    • Provide email feedback regarding site meetings
    • Inform construction supervisor of site delays via email
    • Manage telephone and email enquiries in a timely, efficient and professional manner
    • Ensure Internal documents are accurate, filed and up to date
       

    Qualifications

    • Matric
    • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in a similar environment
    • SAQCC registration for Fire Detection Systems is required.
    • Training certificates to work on Fire Detection, Access Control & CCTV Systems will be an advantage.

    Medical Claims Assessor

    Job Description
    Receives and captures paper claims

    • Receives batched claims from batch controller on a daily basis
    • Pre-Assessing of claims on an all disciplines and schemes
    • Reviews dependant history in accordance with Guidelines and Protocols
    • Updates the batch control form ensuring 100% accuracy of captured data
    • Captures member number, practice number, dependant code, date of service, tariff code, modifier, R-value and multipliers onto the system ensuring 100% accuracy of the captured data
    • Checks as per system requirements for pre-authorizations
    • Capturing of member payments where receipts and credit card payments are attached
    • Allocates required benefit in accordance with protocols / grids / HOC
       

    Reviews and actions paper claims:

    • Reviews additional screens in order to source specific rejection codes
    • Rejects the specific tariff code with the specific reject code in accordance with Guidelines and Protocols
    • Updates the departmental batch control form ensuring 100% accuracy
    • Forwards the completed batch to the Quality Controller for quality controlling purposes
    • Forwards the batch control form to the Team Leader for pre-assessing verification
       

    Reviews and actions electronic claims:

    • Print original EDI from an outstanding excel report send to the assessor
    • Review against the electronic claim to ensure 100% accuracy of data received
    • Reviews additional screens in order to source specific rejection codes / HOC / hospital pre-auth
    • Rejects the specific tariff code with specific reject code in accordance with Guidelines and Protocols

    Qualifications

    • Matric
    • Minimum 5 years data capturing experience in a Medical Environment.
    • Outgoing, professional and presentable;
    • Motivated, independent and energetic;

    Additional Information

    • Salary: R12 000 – R15 000 per month depending on experience plus benefits
