    Provincial Campaign, Logistics and Events Coordinator - Western Cape (Fixed Term)

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Supporting the effective planning, coordination and execution of campaign activities and events across the province
    • Providing campaign logistical, administrative and coordination support to ensure campaign events, meetings and activations are delivered professionally, on time, within budget and in alignment with the organisational objectives
    • Ensuring weekly campaign reports are accurately compiled and timeously distributed

    Requirements

    Minimum requirements:

    • National Senior Certificate or equivalent 
    • Tertiary qualification in administration, logistics, events management (advantageous)
    • 2 years’ relevant experience, including in administration, logistics and events coordination
    • Experience in handling face-to-face, telephone, and email inquiries
    • Proficiency in one official language, in addition to English
    • Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite and Zoom
    • Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills at an intermediate level
    • Valid driver’s licence with access to a vehicle for business related use

    Social Media Officer: Ekurhuleni - Gauteng (Fixed Term)

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Providing an effective and reliable social media communications framework for the mayoral campaign pertaining to policies, the political landscape, events and issues of importance in the relevant community
    • Providing high-quality written and visual material and content for DA communications in the assigned mayoral campaign
    • Assisting in ensuring standards of excellence are pursued and maintained in the creation and promotion of DA communications material in the assigned mayoral campaign
    • Monitoring and providing reports on social media performance
