    Distribution Service Consultant

    Key Purpose

    To provide dedicated support to Key Account Managers (KAM) and all other stakeholders as defined by the Division, specifically relating to, but not limited to, administrative duties.

             

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    • Up to date mailbox and diary management on behalf of stakeholders.

    • Ensuring that all internal divisional trackers are kept up to date on behalf of stakeholders in the agreed timeframes.

    • Daily, weekly and monthly report distribution to KAM stakeholders.

    • Sourcing and preparation of statistics/ reports on behalf of stakeholders.

    • Adhere to the quality and service standards as laid down by the Division, within the set TAT and work schedules.

    • Telephonic support to external stakeholders with basic training on Insure systems e.g FAZ, SMAD etc.

    • Facilitation of escalation enquiry resolution in the agreed turn-around time (e.g claims, new business comparisons, policy reviews, finance, DQ) on behalf of the relevant stakeholders.

    Information Governance Officer

    Key Purpose

    The Information Governance Officer (IGO) position resides in the Governance and Assurance team, as part of the Information Governance and Security (IGS) department in Group Information Services (GIS). The function of the IGO is to support the Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), through the Head of Governance and Assurance, with all governance and control related functions. The IGO is responsible for ensuring that the appropriate policies, procedures, standards, RACI charts and practices for conformance with the respective governance frameworks and mandatory legislation and regulations, are in place as defined. Accurate, complete and relevant reporting is a key function of this role.

     

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    1. Establish and assist in the development of appropriate policies, procedures and practices in relation to IT, Privacy and Security governance and planning functions;

    2. Ensure and monitor the effective implementation of and drive awareness for policies, procedures and standards;

    3. Manage day-to-day activities - maintaining policies, standards, procedures, training and communication regarding Information Governance;

    4. In conjunction with Group Legal and Group Compliance, assist in the identification of applicable laws and regulations and assist with the implementation of actions to ensure compliance;

    5. Exhibit knowledge of governance, legal, compliance and auditing frameworks and apply that in reviewing the quality of existing and new documentation;

    6. Recognise and identify potential areas where existing policies, standards and procedures require change;

    7. Support additional internal and external compliance activities as part of the IGS department;

    Support key stakeholders and management with governance planning, reporting, advice and training.

     

    Technical skills or knowledge

    • Experience in compliance frameworks for Information Security, Compliance and IT Governance Standards: ISO27001, PCI-DSS, COBIT, King III/IV, NIST and ITIL.

    • Strong risk assessment/audit capabilities with hands on experience in many technologies and platforms across a broad range of industries.

    • Risk-related industry-standard qualifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC or CGEIT .

    • Objective documentation, reporting and attention to business report writing.

    Systems Architect

    Key Purpose

    Define the systems architecture, standards, and methodologies in accordance with industry best practices. Ensure the good functioning of the System Architecting Process. Serve as the high-level designer of the systems to be implemented. Establish the basic structure of the system, defining the essential core design features and elements that provide the framework for all that follows. Provide the architects view of the users' vision for what the system needs to be and do, and the paths along which it must be able to evolve, and strive to maintain the integrity of that vision as it evolves during detailed design and implementation.

    • Match system requirements with IT strategy and objectives.

    • Maintain a good knowledge of current practice and awareness of current developments within own area(s) of expertise.

    • Demonstrates awareness of areas outside own specialism, as appropriate.
      Lead architecture developments for small systems.

    • Establish policy for the selection of systems architecture components.
      Co-ordinate design activity between the systems architecture, application development and service delivery functions to ensure consistency.

    • Contribute to the organization’s enterprise architecture technology and vision, and ensure alignment with the group strategic architecture direction

    • Document and communicate information about emerging technologies to relevant functional management.

    • Establish policy for the selection of systems architecture components.
