    Purpose of the Role

    • This role is ideal for a hands-on, technically driven individual who enjoys working in the field. The purpose of this role is to install, maintain, and troubleshoot fibre optic systems and network infrastructure.     Ops Admin Control (Cape Town)

    Purpose of the Role

    • The role works closely with Operations, Projects, Maintenance, Finance, and SHEQ to ensure installations, handovers, and as-built documentation meet required standards and timelines.

    What You’ll Be Responsible For

    Quality Assurance & Compliance

    • Monitor and report on contractor performance where repetitive non-conformances are identified.
    • Compile detailed audit reports, highlighting findings, non-conformances, and corrective action measures.
    • Track and verify the implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    • Escalate continuous or unresolved non-conformance in line with Frogfoot requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with build specifications, designs, customer requirements, SOWs, and CPAC standards.

    Installations, Inspections & Hanover Control

    • Inspect and approve FTTH, MDU, and FTTB installations on the SOLID system.
    • Compile weekly and monthly home installation handover reports (Approved / Corrections / Pending).
    • Ensure all corrected handovers are verified, checked, and formally signed off.
    • Coordinate with Maintenance teams where installations are logged as faults due to non-compliance.
    • Liaise with SHEQ Officers to investigate and resolve installation-related complaints.

    CPAC & Project Documentation Management

    • Compile, maintain, and manage CPAC and as-built documentation across all projects.
    • Coordinate with Operations to verify that all required documentation is accurately uploaded by Principal Contractors prior to project sign-off.
    • Follow up with contractors to ensure documentation is submitted within agreed project periods and forecasted handover dates.
    • Investigate and confirm that CPAC checklists are completed correctly and in line with build specifications.
    • Participate in contractor workshops and training on CPAC and as-built documentation systems as required.

    Operational Coordination & Stakeholder Support

    • Work closely with Finance to verify home installation invoices nationally prior to payment.
    • Assist the Projects HOD with verification of MDU documentation required for invoicing.
    • Coordinate with Maintenance teams to provide as-built documentation required for ongoing support.
    • Support Management by identifying required HDC tickets and reporting progress daily.
    • Maintain and update tracking systems, including ATC TOC Tracker and FF_TOC_Tracker.
    • Assist contractors with handover system and documentation queries.
    • Attend meetings and provide regular feedback and reporting to the Ops Admin Control Manager.
