    Scullery/Salad Preparation - Vryburg

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12/National Senior Certificate.
    • Working experience in a Fast Food Restaurant doing food preparations will be an added advantage.
    • Good understanding of kitchen hygiene practices.
    • Must be willing to work overtime, public holidays and weekends.
    • Excellent communication.
    • Must be able to perform under pressure.
    • Hardworking, honest and self-motivated.
    • Situated within the Vryburg area will be advantageous.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Set up of cleaning procedures – 3 Bucket system/set up 2 step sink.
    • Cleaning of Crockery, Cutlery, Smallwares, Pots etc.
    • Understand what customer expectations are.
    • In depth knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures and recipes.
    • Must be multiskilled and be able to help in other stations when the store gets busy.
    • Must be able to make salads, rice, spinach, pap etc., as and when required.

    Front griller (Main Grill) - Vryburg

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12/National Senior Certificate.
    • A recognised Chef's qualification will be advantageous.
    • Working experience in a Fast Food Restaurant as a Griller will be an added advantage.
    • Good understanding of kitchen hygiene practices.
    • Must be willing to work overtime, public holidays and weekends.
    • Excellent communication.
    • Must be able to perform under pressure.
    • Hardworking, honest and self-motivated.
    • Situated within the Vryburg area will be advantageous.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • In-depth knowledge of the menu.
    • Know all precook procedures of products(chicken, wings) as well as holding times.
    • Hot Food SOP’s – must know Standard Operating Procedures for Chicken and wings.
    • Must know procedures on how to prepare Pre and final cooks of chicken, wings, fillets etc.
    • Maintaining a clean workstation at all times.
    • Know how to package each item if it is a “take-away” (Full Chicken, ½ Chicken, ¼ Chicken, Wings).
    • Know how to plate items if the order is “sit in” (Full Chicken, ½ Chicken, ¼ Chicken, Wings).
    • Must be able to coordinate and push out orders with urgency(within 7minutes)as they come in.
    • Follow standard operating procedures for cleaning of equipment such as the Front grill, Extraction, Chopping Block, Smallware’s/inserts/tongs/brushes, packing table, Oven/Fire Engine.

    Waitron (Galitos) - Vryburg

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12/National Senior Certificate.
    • Customer/client service experience will be advantageous.
    • Working experience as a waitron will be an added advantage.
    • Basic math and computer literacy.
    • Must be proficient in handling cash, credit cards in an accurate manner.
    • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
    • Excellent communication & people skills.
    • Must be able to multitask and perform under pressure.
    • Hardworking, honest and self-motivated.
    • The ability to “get things done” and to think like and entrepreneur.
    • Helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints.
    • Situated within the Vryburg area will be advantageous.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Welcome and serve customers.
    • In-depth knowledge of the menu and prices.
    • Assist customers by explaining and/or recommending items.
    • Waitering skills include: knowledge of menu plating procedures, Table clearing, Table service.
    • Ensure that pass through, trays, bottle sauce is full, condiments holder cleaned. Ensure cutlery is cleaned and wrapped.
    • Must be able to assist with preparation of Garden salads, Coleslaw, Chilli bean, Galimayo, PiriMayo, portion Sishebo sauce and Salad dressing.
    • Ensure to treat customers with respect and in a friendly manner.
