• Our company has a vacancy for a Store Assistant in the Maintenance Department, someone who is familiar with maintenance spares and must possess skills such as: great working abilities with attention to detail, can work under pressure and accurate record keeping.

Minimum Requirements    

• Grade 12 is essential.
• Knowledge of Maintenance spares and tools.
• Previous experience in a storeroom will be advantageous.
• A valid Forklift license will be advantageous.
• Computer literacy.
• Must be able to perform under pressure and without supervision.
• Hardworking, honest and self-motivated.
• Accurate working ability.
• Good communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Creating job cards.
• Issue stock as required and ensure the recordkeeping is done for the stock issued.
• Manage stock as required.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure sufficient levels are maintained.
• Assist with monthly stock takes.
• Assist in and outside the workshop where needed.
• General housekeeping of the storeroom.
• Maintain an orderly, clean and tidy working area.
• Carry out any reasonable instruction given to you by the Stock Controller.
• Must be willing to work overtime.

• Located in the Lichtenburg area will be to your advantageous.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, public holidays and various shifts.
• Willing to work in dusty, noisy, cold and wet areas.
• Willing to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
