    Marketing Campaign Executive (Lead Generation) - Entry Level

    • We are looking for driven, enthusiastic, and passionate professionals to join our Summits division as a Marketing Executive. The Marketing Executive will be responsible for the creation and execution of marketing campaigns using direct mail and email, within budget, to promote events to senior decision-makers in major organizations throughout the region.
    • This is a junior position, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
    • This is an in-person role located in our Cape Town office.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identifying Decision-Makers: Research and identify individuals in senior positions (e.g., CEOs, CFOs, Directors) who align with the summit theme and objectives.
    • Building Contact Lists: Utilize CRM tools, databases, and online platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) to create targeted prospect lists.
    • To provide relevant, accurate, and current information of our potential clients, this is essential for the company’s marketing campaigns as well as developing a fundamental understanding of each event.
    • Analyze and identify target client contacts based on event topic and geographic markets through research.
    • Plan, implement and monitor marketing campaigns to generate marketing referrals for sponsorship sales and direct marketing.
    • Proactively contribute to the overall effectiveness of event marketing campaigns

    Qualifications

    • Recognized degree or diploma in any discipline, preferably in Marketing or Business Administration
    • You will have a demonstrable experience in lead generation or excellent research abilities.
    • Practical marketing experience will be considered an advantage (1-2 years)
    • Excellent knowledge of the English language
    • French language to be considered an advantage
    • Willingness to adapt to a performance driven culture.
    • Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

    Marketing Executive (French speaker)

    • We are now looking for a Marketing Executive to join our professional training team based in Cape Town office. This person will be working closely with our course development teams to further develop your given portfolio, contributing to title course development, identifying potential future trainers and pushing innovative training formats.
    • This is an in-person role, based in our office in Cape Town.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Planning and executing a direct marketing campaign for each event in your portfolio of approximately 20 annual training courses; primarily focused on email marketing to our active database of prospects over a 14-week promotional cycle.
    • Exploring all other marketing channels available for the promotion of our training portfolio including but not limited to social media, content marketing and online advertising.
    • Outright responsibility for creating compelling marketing copy for email campaigns, event brochures and online event pages.
    • Responsible for managing and responding to all inbound marketing enquiries through to close of contract. This will involve managing active pipelines of enquiries both for short term and long term revenue generation.
    • Portfolio management. Working closely with the professional training director and the course development manager to provide feedback on courses in the market, interpreting the campaign performance to drive product development.
    • Particular importance is attached to evaluating statistics to enhance future results, drive course development, as well as developing and growing other business lines including in-house training.

    Qualifications

    • Recognized degree preferably in Marketing or a related field.
    • 1-2 years’ of experience in a corporate environment.
    • Speaking French is a must requirement as we are looking to grow our portfolio further in the French market.
    • Self-motivated, enthusiastic can-do individual with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and drive.
    • Previous marketing or sales experience particularly in a B2B environment would be considered a distinct advantage.
    • Willingness to adapt to a performance driven culture.

    • This is an entry level role, based in our Cape Town office.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identifying potential speakers and building a database.
    • Industry research and analysis.

    • Meeting weekly and monthly goals and KPIs.

    • Effective collaboration with a Senior Production Manager working on our North American events.

    Qualifications

    • Recognized Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, but Finance an advantage.
    • 1-2 years experience in research, lead generation, and messaging.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills in English is a must!
