    Senior Data Centre Operations Engineer

    • Mimecast are primarily looking for candidates which have previous work history of managing and executing large scale data centre projects, such as site-wide migrations of equipment. Ideally the candidate will also have knowledge and experience of next generation data centre technologies such as liquid and immersion cooling.

    What you'll do

    • Assist with power and rack design planning for our global data centre infrastructure.
    • Manage large-scale projects through effective communication with staff and third-party resources.
    • Attend regular meetings to provide project updates to stakeholders.
    • Develop global standards and promote best practices in data centre operations.
    • Introduce process improvements and best practices in data centre operations.
    • Develop specifications for tools to facilitate administration across multiple data centres, including automation and process streamlining.
    • Document standards and processes within the data centre, creating comprehensive documentation for projects and work.
    • Define workflow and communication systems for data centre activities.
    • Facilitate racking and decommissioning of servers and network equipment worldwide.
    • Track server and network assets through their deployment lifecycle, ensuring accurate reporting and auditing.
    • Provide cross-functional communication with other technical operations groups.
    • Collaborate with the Mimecast Network Operations team to complete infrastructure-related projects within data centres.
    • Maintain Mimecast data centre environments based on vendor maintenance communications.
    • Perform and maintain frequent drive destruction activities in line with compliance requirements.
    • Manage the entire lifecycle of servers, storage, and network equipment within the facility, including receiving, racking, and recycling.
    • Handle incoming and outgoing shipments globally.
    • Work closely with third-party data centre remote hands engineers worldwide.
    • Occasionally work weekends during emergency situations.
    • Manage RMAs with multiple vendors.
    • Assist with tracking data centre issues and maintaining Mimecast servers in production.
    • Provide weekly task progression reports.

    What you'll bring

    • Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Expertise in server hardware and troubleshooting.
    • Strong understanding of critical data centre infrastructure.
    • Willingness to travel to various data centres worldwide.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Collections Specialist (6 Month Contract)

    • In this 6 month contract role you will be responsible for facilitating the communication and relationship building necessary to collect the invoices due from client within specified payment terms.

    What you'll do

    • Actively manage a list of customer accounts to ensure payment is received on time. This includes facilitating daily collection calls and/or electronic correspondence with clients while ensuring acceptable level of delinquency for assigned accounts.
    • Provide customer assistance relating to collection issues and refunds
    • Process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments
    • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department
    • Enlist the efforts of sales, customer service, and management when necessary to assist in the collection process
    • Provide excellent and considerate service to customers, partners and other departments within the Company
    • Assist with metrics reporting and other cash and credit related reconciliations
    • Assist with cash/ACH application as needed

    Diversity and Transformation Partner

    • Mimecast is looking for a hands-on Diversity and Transformation Partner to join our Human Resources Function to help make meaningful progress in our inclusion journey. As a member of the Employee Experience & Social Impact team, and reporting to the Global Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), we are a small yet nimble team who collaborate across the full HR team including HR Business Partners and Center of Excellence teams to support the Business.
    • This role is full of variety and requires a tactical executor who is comfortable being a self-starter and willing to roll up their sleeves to achieve tangible outcomes. You will focus on advancing employee engagement with an emphasis on designing and delivering DEI programming and managing our Employee Resource Groups, whilst implementing strategies in our HR People processes that promote greater equity and inclusion for our Mimecasters.
    • A critical element of this role will involve providing hands-on operational support for activities that will help Mimecast achieve our Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) strategic plan that advances social and economic equity in South Africa.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Support the advancement of Mimecast’s multi-year Global DEI strategy, targets and objectives. Manage communications, event planning and logistics for firmwide DEI programming, including heritage month celebrations and awareness days.
    • Support with the integration of DEI across Mimecast to help embed inclusion throughout the employee lifecycle, collaborating closely with other teams, including:
      • Learning & Development - to help design and deliver programs that help develop, advance and retain employees from under-represented backgrounds including our flagship MimecastHER programme
      • Talent Acquisition - to help develop an approach to diversity recruitment that attracts a diverse candidate pool and promotes Mimecast as an employer of choice.
      • HR Business Partners - to help launch initiatives that embed DEI deeper into the organisation
    • Act as a central point of contact to our 5 Employee Resource Groups. Provide guidance to ERG leaders, particularly those in the early phases, ensuring alignment to our DEI Strategy and effective communication, executive sponsor engagement and quality execution of impactful programs.
    • Provide administration and support for all aspects relating to the Mimecast bursary programmes in South Africa, from planning, implementing, and reporting on both internal and external bursary programmes.
    • Collaborate closely with other Functions and HR colleagues including Learning & Organizational Development, Social Impact, and HR Operations to support other operational tasks and special projects as needed.

    What You’ll Bring:

    • Knowledge and understanding of the cultural landscape of South Africa, including B-BBEE legislation

    Channel Director, Africa

    • This pivotal role will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our distribution, reseller , SI,  MSP and MSSP partner ecosystem across Africa. The Channel director will lead a team dedicated to establishing strategic relationships enabling Mimecast partners to deliver our cybersecurity and human risk management solutions effectively to their clients.
    • This position reports to our VP, EMEA Partners with a dotted line and close interlock into local Africa sales leadership.

    What You’ll Bring

    • Executive Experience: Proven leadership at  Senior Channel Manager or Channel Director at a SaaS company preferably within a high-growth cybersecurity company experience.
    • Cybersecurity Expertise: Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, particularly within the MSP/MSSP partner ecosystems.
    • Inspirational Leadership: Ability to collaborate across functions and lead a high-performance team.
    • Market Expertise: Experience with diverse customer segments (SMB, mid-market, enterprise) and new business growth, including partner acquisition.
