    Responsibilities

    Job Overview:

    • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
    • Dismantle, fit & assemble machinery and parts
    • Execute pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs
    • Execute and enhance scheduled maintenance while assisting with equipment installations and repairs
    • Fit, inspect, test and repair MCC, circuits & wiring systems and electrical equipment
    • Use, install and apply fault finding on programmable logical control circuits (PLC's)

    Clerk Sales Administration (Temporary) - Cape Town HQ

    Responsibilities

    Job Overview:

    • The purpose of the role is the fulfilling of the required Commercial Enabling responsibilities based on business objectives linked to revenue and discounts and range from transactional inputs to ensure correct invoice pricing to controls reporting.
    • The controls reporting focus on managing pricing within sales guardrails.
    • The role also ensures accurate and timely processing of sales deals (on invoice discounts) for 6 SA Categories as well as WECA.
    • This requires tremendous accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Electronic record keeping of all supporting documentation and evidence relating to sales deals and ensuring completeness of recordkeeping and adherence to the PepsiCo Risk Policy.

    CRM (Customer Relationship Management)

    • Access CRM and check for new sales deals requests that requires uploading to SAP
    • Check if deal sheet is completed correctly and if promotional deals are within guardrail pricing
    • Ensuring sales deals are captured accurately & timely in the SAP system and within the agreed SLA
    • Uploads new deal into SAP and change CRM status to “In Process” and assign to a Releasing Team Member

    Pricing Checks

    • Provide on-going administering and monitoring of all released sales deals by performing a pricing check to ensure sales deal is recording correct on invoice pricing
    • Electronic record keeping of all performed pricing checks as supporting evidence relating to sales deals

    Reporting

    • Compile and distribute an Expiry Sales Deals report – Done weekly with follow-ups to ensure deals are submitted within SLA
    • Compile and distribute an Open Sales Orders with Zero Discounts report – Daily with follow-ups to ensure pricing records accurately in sales orders
    • Guardrail Control - daily control of pricing outside of pre-approved guardrail pricing (Foods & Beverages excl Snacks)

    Pricing Claims

    • Administration of pricing claims to ensure claims are closed off
    • Process enhancements to reduce pricing claims

    Other Responsibilities

    • Pricing and Sales Deals: SOX & GCS control execution
    • Direct support to Customer Managers with regards to pricing
    • Customer Contracts (Trade Agreements) - ensuring accurate recording on invoice discounts and allowances for accounting and tax purposes

    Qualifications

    • Senior Certificate/Matric is required
    • Tertiary qualification in either Business Management/Marketing & Sales/Finance would be advantageous
    • Commercial and Financial Acumen within an FMCG environment with at least 2 years’ experience

    • Supervises the activities of a group of employees/controllers engaged in performing a variety of milling routines.
