    Job Description:

    • SAP professionals to help grow the SAP S/4 hana business through solution selling and unique business relationships.
    • A professional at this position level within PwC has the following responsibilities: Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for areas of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
    • Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.
    • Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within PwC on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
    • Have some latitude in decision-making acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Decisions have a major day to day impact on the area of responsibility.
    • Manages or contributes as a team member to large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within PwC. Teams may be distributed on shore and offshore.
    • Manage interactions and delivery with third parties contributing to the overall solution,

    Basic Qualifications

    • Information systems Degree or Diploma should form the foundation of a SAP consultant. Basic knowledge and financial background is a key requirement.
    • Experience in SAP business development for experienced hires.
    • SAP S/4 certification is preferred, but not required should the candidate have sufficient experience in the SAP profitability and costing domain.
    • Deep understanding and skills in costing and data architecture principles
    • Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable

    • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment  Desire to work in an information systems environment

    About the role

    • To provide an efficient service to internal customers in preparing financial statements using Caseware working papers (CWWP)

    Responsibilities

    • Receive requests for financial statement preparation (small companies, trusts and CC’s) and review the input for accuracy and completeness;
    • Prepare financial statements using CWWP (Caseware Working Papers);
    • Financial statement preparation using Excel as and when required;
    • Perform critical self-review;
    • Work within budget allocations;
    • General administration including billing and assisting with timesheet management of team
    • Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.

    Essential skills 

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus;
    • Ability to work under pressure;
    • Able to work as part of a team as well as independently;
    • Good organisational and time management skills;
    • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines;
    • Attention to detail/Accuracy;
    • Advanced working knowledge of Excel;

    Experience

    • 1 years’ relevant experience in Caseware and / or accounting

    Required qualifications

    • Grade 12
