    • Undertaking Officer functions: Supporting or execusion of  Undertaking Officer Funtions with Invoice payment processes which includes prosesscing Manual payments on MIS system and  VMS system, Trustees and Curator fees processes, Invoice payment processes and Caregiver payments processes
    • Bill Review  Functions: Supporting or execusopm of Bill Review functions which includes: Summarising Medico-legal documents, drafting Treatment plans drafting Preauthorisation assessments, Supplier claim processes, Assessment of invoices  and Communication of outcomes with other team members.
    • Medical Management Consultant’s functions  : Supporting or perfomimng Injury Assesments – including AMA Guides Assessments, Drafring of Injury Assessment Reports,  Drafting of undertakings and  Basket of care (BOC).
    • Case Management Funtions: Supportive role in Field Case Management  functions and  processes,  Hospital Case Management and Fleet management process.

    Internship: People Management

    Job Posting End Date:  10 Jul 2026

    Work based exposure may include the following: (populate in the form of Summary)

    • Compiling Adverts using the relevant job profile and approved Memo
    • Posting Adverts on success factors (eRecruitment System)
    • Reviewing applications to ensure applicants meet the requirements (Screening)
    • Coordinate assessments of the screened candidates.
    • Organize shortlisting declaration forms and ensure that these are uploaded on eRecruitment system.
    • Prepare for interviews, booking venue, invite candidates by sending emails, interview schedules.
    • Draft appointment letters for the recommended candidates, compile score sheets, targeted selection and upload all interview documents on the system.
    • Coordinate induction and ensure all induction registers are forwarded to Learning and Development
    • Updating and maintaining the filing systems, daily archiving, files as appropriate e.g. disciplinary records, training records etc.
    • Scanning and uploading new files on the system.
    • Request and collecting of off-site files
    • Filing of and safe keeping of departmental documents

    Specialist: Fraud Risk Management

    Key Performance Areas 

    Fraud Risk Assessment

    • Conduct comprehensive fraud risk assessments.
    • Identify risks by analysing data, observing processes, and engaging with personnel.
    • Facilitate the identification and assessment of fraud risks, ensuring that risk registers and mitigation action plans are updated and monitored for effective implementation.
    • Develop fraud risk indicators. 

    Fraud Prevention

    • Design and implement fraud prevention programs tailored to organisational needs.
    • Develop clear guidelines on how to address controls deficiency.
    • Develop and promote clear lines of reporting fraud.
    • Conduct fraud risk training and awareness. 

    Behavioural Analysis

    • Perform fraud control environment assessments.
    • Develop employee risk profiles and key risk indicators to monitor behavioural patterns.

    Policy Review and Implementation

    • Develop, review and implement departmental policies and procedures and processes.
    • Keep up to date with effective policy and practice execution strategies.
    • Conduct gap analysis reviews to identify areas for improvement. 

    Reporting

    • Analyse historical fraud data for patterns and trends.
    • Prepare and submit regular and periodic reports to provide progress updates and/or inform decisions.
    • Develop functional reporting systems for management, project, or performance reporting.
    • Prepare reports for EXCO, RGAL and the Board.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Collaborate with assurance providers to identify and report on fraud risks.
    • Facilitate and manage communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders and proactively and progressively manage the relationships.
    • Communicate with all levels of stakeholder contact.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree/ Advanced Diploma in Commerce (BCom Accounting/ Internal Audit/ Financial Management/ Risk Management/ BCom Law/ Forensic Accounting/ Economics/ Information Systems), Forensic Science or LLB.
    • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Forensic Practitioner (ICFP).
    • Certified Risk Management Practitioner (CRM) will be an added advantage.
    • Valid code EB driver’s license.
    • Relevant 5 - 7 years’ experience in a Fraud Risk Management environment (specific experience in performing fraud risk assessments and implementing fraud risk management practices).
    • Demonstrate experience in conducting behavioural analysis (lifestyle audits).
