    Law Enforcement Intern

    • The intern will assist the unit by coordinate, compile and monitor the business units administrative activities.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate, compile and monitor the business unit's administrative activities.
    • Coordinate, compile and monitor the business unit's budget and procurement plan
    • Research and draft business cases/submissions for procurement of law enforcement tools of trade and other requirements.
    • Coordinate, research and draft policies, standard operating procedures and circulars.
    • Coordinate, compile and draft monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
    • Coordinate and provide a Secretarial service to the business units management meetings/strategic sessions.
    • Render and efficient and effective support service to law enforcement personnel.

    Executive: Corporate Services (Re-Advertisement)

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • The Executive will be responsible for overseeing the direction and management of the Corporate Services Division. The Division includes  among others, Human Resources Management, Facilities Management,  Legal Services, and Communications. The Executive will be responsible for all major decisions affecting the work of the Corporate Services Division. The Executive will undertake direct management and leadership of staff reporting directly to him/ her, delegating responsibility where appropriate, and shall report to the Chief Executive Officer.

    The successful candidate will be expected, among others to:

    • Human Resources Leadership and Strategy: Lead and oversee the HR and Organisational Development functions, ensuring compliant and effective HR strategies, workforce and leadership development, skills planning, transformation initiatives, sound labour relations, and a positive organisational culture. Provide expert advisory support to executive management and relevant governance committees.
    • Facilities Management: Provide strategic and operational oversight of facilities management, including premises, service providers, landlord and tenant relationships, and compliance with occupational health, safety, and related legislation.  
    • Communications and Customer Satisfaction: Direct the communications function, driving internal and external stakeholder engagement, customer satisfaction initiatives, and effective positioning and promotion of the Agency’s brand.
    • Legal Services Oversight: Oversee the legal services function, ensuring effective legal support to the organisation, interpretation of relevant legislation, contracts negotiations, drafting and vetting and sound advice to the Board, EXCO, and management on legislative and regulatory matters.
    • General Leadership and Management: Provide overall leadership to the Corporate Services Division, ensuring effective operational planning, reporting, organisational change management, and delivery of strategic and ad hoc initiatives as directed by the CEO.

    Job Requirements

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

    Formal Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in HR or an equivalent qualification (Industrial Psychology/ Labour Law / Communications / Business Management) at NQF level 7.
    • Postgraduate qualification in HR or Business Management or an equivalent qualification at NQF level 8.
    • Membership to a relevant professional body is required.

    Experience:

    • 10 years Senior Management experience of which 5 years will be managing at Executive level Corporate Services or related positions such as Human Resources.
    • Interaction with Directors/Board will be an added advantage.
    • Extensive, up to date knowledge of labour legislation and general HR Management processes.

    COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

    • Strategic Human Resources Management.
    • Advanced knowledge of Employee Relations Management.
    • Knowledge of Cross-Border Road Transport Act, its Regulations and all applicable legislation is an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of PFMA and treasury regulations.
    • Extensive knowledge of HR Legislation (labour laws, BCEA, EEA, OHSA etc.)
    • Project Management Skills.
    • Job profiling, Job Evaluations and Grading.
    • Presentation and strategy development skills.
    • Knowledge of facilities management and Occupational Health and Safety.
    • Proficiency with HR software (HRIS, ATS, Payroll systems)

    Senior Manager: Human Resources

    • To provide a professional generalist human resource management support service in the areas of Labour Relations, Organisational Development, Learning and Development, Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management and HR Administration.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    The successful candidate will be expected, among others to:

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of C-BRTA Human Resources strategy and plan
    • Management of human resources recruitment and selection processes.
    • Manage the delivery of learning and development opportunities to facilitate staff and organisational effectiveness
    • HR Administration: Develop and maintain HR administration and Payroll processes.
    • Provide expert technical advice in the development and implementation of organisational structure design.
    • Labour Relations: Develop and implement labour relations strategy and ensure that C-BRTA Disciplinary Code and procedures are implemented.
    • Performance Management: monitoring and ensuring that performance management is effectively implemented.
    • Lead execution and delivery on the talent management strategy of the Agency.
    • Coordinate all HR Projects.
    • Develop and implement the Agency’s Remuneration and Rewards policy.
    • Supervision and management of the team.
    • HR Reporting to relevant stakeholders

    Job Requirements
    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree or NQF level 7 in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology or a relevant HR qualification.
    • Post Graduate qualification will be an added advantage.

    Experience:

    Minimum:

    • 10 years relevant HR Generalist experience.
    • 5 years experience at management level
    • Computer Proficiency (Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Packages, SAGE 300 People)
