    Packaging Team Leader-Prospecton Brewery

    • The key purpose of the team leader packaging is to lead the SBU in the execution of the production plan, executing quality control and analyses, the carrying out of autonomous maintenance tasks and the resolution of production problems.

    Key roles and responsibilities

    Operating and Process Control

    • Ensuring the SBU understands and adheres to the operational, quality and process standards, work instructions and maintenance schedules and performance target.
    • Mentoring, supporting and coaching team members in the correct execution of their tasks.
    • Checking and verifying that team members are monitoring process performance, carrying out required quality checks and recording the information on the appropriate systems.
    • Reviewing and sign off of shift performance and ensuring that all required administration tasks in support of the production team are carried out.
    • Where production problems have been escalated to the team leader, deciding on a course of action to resolve the problem. This may involve calling in specialist resources.
    • Developing teams and ensure training needs are met by carrying out training needs analysis, one-on-ones and performance reviews.
    • Where a team leader has identified a training need, corrective action must be initiated.
    • Driving performance management, leading the development of team goals and carrying out performance reviews and team target review sessions.
    • Ensure end of shift results report is complete to enable shift handover Ensure QFR, 5 why and Abnormality reports are done according to triggers

    Maintenance of Plant and Equipment

    • Checking that the team, in accordance with work instructions and maintenance schedules carries out required autonomous maintenance tasks and any required running repairs on shift.
    • Ensuring that the process artisan carries out running repairs on shift, mentors and coaches the process operator on autonomous maintenance and carries out work in support of the maintenance specialists. 
    • Ensuring that the process artisan takes part in maintenance and cleaning days in support of maintenance specialist and takes part in maintenance postmortems. 
    • Takes part in maintenance planning meetings, where appropriate, and highlights maintenance problems requiring attention. 
    • Where maintenance issues have been escalated to the team leader, the team leader with the Packaging artisans must provide guidance and call in additional resources if required.

    Maintenance of Plant and Equipment

    Requirements:

    • National Diploma / NQF level 6 qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Instrumentation, Chemical, or Process) 
    • Bachelor’s degree (advantageous)
    • Minimum 3 – 5 years Manufacturing industries
    • Completed Packaging Traineeship, ABInBev Leadership, or Artisan Training (Planning experience will be an added advantage)
    • 3–5 years of factory production experience
    • Proven shift production expertise, and a strong performance record marked by discipline, problem-solving skills, and a drive for continuous improvement.

    Events Representative

    • The Key Purpose of this role is to execute brand led consumer experiences which lead to long term brand advocacy and simultaneously influence volume and market share growth and increased competitiveness of SAB beer and ciders. Execute regional events with the objective of driving incremental volume & market share growth, while simultaneously reinforcing brand narrative and enhancing SAB corporate reputation.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Planning, executing and reporting on experiential events within the region (brand building activations) to reinforce the brand narrative, while delivering memorable consumer experiences.
    • Planning, executing and reporting on regional events (sales driving events led by regions) in line with execution guidelines to deliver incremental profitable volume Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal (sales teams and brand teams) and external stakeholders (stadium owners, event owners and community)
    • Management of SAB beer account procedures (FBIs, stock & deals)
    • Gather and develop insights into Consumer behaviour and engagement with our brands
    • Manage third party event suppliers and stakeholders

    BDR I -SAB East London Depot

    • The Key Purpose of this role is to work towards achieving growth in volumes sold, growth in market share and increased competitiveness through providing market driven differentiated service that builds sustainable competitiveness within clearly identified segments.

    Document Technician - Chamdor Brewery

    • The Key Purpose of this role is the effective operation of the PDM system, including the capture and updating of documents, and the auditing of the PDM system

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Actively drives Quality awareness on site
    • Owner of TNA for quality management system competence
    • Support non-conformance management and ensure loop closure
    • Assist in the planning, development and implementation of the Quality management systems in the brewery

    Packaging Inventory Clerk

    • The key purpose of this role is the Management of all Raw Material (RM) inventory within the logistics supply chain ensuring product quality standards met &  in compliance ​to all inventory governance processes & controls. All physical movement of inventory is correctly reflected in SAP, inventory differences investigated, resolved & reported. ​​

    Key roles and responsibilities:

    • ​RM Inventory quality fundamentals standards are adhered to as per VPO requirements​​
    • RM Inventory accurately blocked in SAP with physical blocking mechanism in place as per VPO standards for quality related & obsolescence stock​​
    • Ensure compliance to the freshness & rotation policy as per VPO standards​​
    • Inventory count are recorded accurately with quantities per storage location & Best Before Dates (BBD) x SKU & bin cards clearly displayed as per VPO standards ​​
    • Inventory concession policy applied & approved as per VPO product age standards​​
    • RM Inventory accurately blocked in SAP with physical blocking mechanism in place as per VPO standards for quality related & obsolescence stock​​
    • All RM salvages are re-packed as per VPO standards​​
    • All obsolescence stock are decanted as per standard policy & procedure​​
    • All Received stock are GRN as per standard policy & procedure​
    • Independent inventory counts conducted on all RM Inventory reconciled to SAP inventory . Inventory count difference identified, investigated, resolved & reported. Un-resolved inventory count differences escalated to RM Controller with commentary & action plans​​
    • All physical movements of RM Inventory are transacted in SAP accurately. Packaging receipts validated by line counters, write-off's are verified against signed-off documentation & gate sheets​​
    • Breakages, Obsolescence & salvages stock are signed-off & processed in SAP accurately​.​
    • All daily controls, open shipments are reviewed & resolved. ​
    • All claims are processed timeously with signed-off backup documentation & SAB reimbursed ​​
    • Supply Chain Overheads Budget vs Actual costs are monitored with gaps & action plans reports ​
    • Managing and daily planning of workload for team​

    Profile:

    • National Diploma in Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics or relevant studies ​​
    • 2-3 years’ experience in a Stock Control environment​​
    • Knowledge of Stock Control Processes ​​
    • MS Office & SAP proficiency​
    • Licensed FLT driver​
