This role is not your typical digital product management role and provides a unique opportunity to create a digital product capability in a traditional fuel retail business in 23 markets across the continent of Africa. The role requires you to combine customer and business insights with emerging technology to drive delivery and execute on our digital strategy. This is achieved through close collaboration with business stakeholders, operational teams and technology partners to co-create solutions. This role will be responsible for planning and execution of business objectives alongside the tech team throughout the business development lifecycle and will be the key link between Business and Technology.
The role covers a broad area of digital solutions that ranges from digitizing consumer loyalty programs, designing useful and secure mobile payment offerings, creating digital solutions to improve commercial clients’ interactions with us, to improving efficiencies of the internal workforce through digital tools.
This role is perfect for a person with a kick-starter mindset, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys finding different ways to deal with a high degree of complexity, and is energized by the possibility of how digital can transform the customer experience (Consumer, B2B and Internal). This is a customer centric role, working to translate the needs of the customer into online business opportunities.
