What you will enjoy doing

• As a SHEQ Coordinator, you ensure that safety, health, environment and quality become an integral part of the unit operations standards through leadership, support and direction on SHEQ issues to the unit management and staff
• You are the key player in championing company and regional SHEQ initiatives at the unit and support unit management in the development; implementation of an integrated SHEQ management system and support unit management in the development
• Identify and develop the SHEQ Competency Matrix for the unit and ensure the competencies are achieved through relevant development and training
• Perform audits of SHEQ compliance and support unit management to close out audit findings, as well as participate in the company SHEQ integrated auditing process as required
• Ensure SHEQ Best Operating Practices are adopted and implemented in business units
• You will support site management to manage and maintain all international and local standards programs, including but not limited to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHS 18001, Medicines Control Council (MCC) certification for Medical Gases and SANAS approval for Cylinder Test Shops

What makes you great

• You possess a matric certificate with a tertiary technical or SHEQ related qualification
• You have gained 3-5 years of experience in a SHEQ from Gas industry operations including SHEQ Legal requirements, auditing methods and standards, ISO standard

What you will enjoy doing

• As a Plant Instrument Technician, you maintain the ASU Plant to ensure a safe and optimal operation by keeping the Instrumentation & PLC/Scada equipment operating efficiently with minimum down time and perform planned maintenance and attend unscheduled breakdowns
• You perform analyzer calibration per OEM or local procedures; demonstrate adequate attention to detail while performing analyzer calibration (from as found to as left, back online fully, record of all adjustments and observations)
• You demonstrate methodical thoroughness while performing any instrumentation work
• Recognize all types of instruments at the site and correctly identify their process function and ensure instruments are tagged accurately
• Ensure record keeping for trip/alarm bridging is signed in and closed out to meet MOC standards (Alarm & Trip List)
• You read and understand the functional logic code (e.g. low signal, high signal, selection, trip functions) of the program

What makes you great

• You possess a matric certificate or engineering studies N4 to N6 equivalent, as well as a Trade Test in Instrumentation
• You gained at least 4 to 8 years of experience in a related industrial environment
• Knowledge about process systems including instrumentation, control valves, vibration monitoring equipment, Programmable Logic Controllers, software and hardware is part of your expertise
• You have the ability to analyze electronic circuits, conduct fault finding, testing and repair is part of your expertise
