    Sales Support Intern

    Job Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

    • Identifying new customers and prospects,
    • Assisting in identifying the needs and support for current customers within the industry,
    • Prospect activities and proactively collect the necessary market information and feedback to obtain a competitive advantage,
    • Developing and maintaining a basic level of product, application, and industry knowledge needed to support duties.

    • Fresh graduate with a degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering,

    Sales Engineer

    Job Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

    • Identify and visit new Commercial Refrigeration customers and prospects,
    • Visit and support potential customers and relevant stakeholders (distributors, OEMs, end-users, contractors, system integrators, consultants, designers, and others) to transfer knowledge and marketing experience,
    • Build customer relationships and increase customer satisfaction,
    • Conduct prospecting activities and proactively collect necessary market information and feedback to obtain a competitive advantage,
    • Prepare quotations, configurations, and calculations for orders and projects,
    • Organize and participate in exhibitions, seminars, and meetings,
    • Achieve sales targets by promoting the product portfolio to increase sales,
    • Prepare technical presentations for products,
    • Deliver weekly and monthly reports.

    The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

    • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical engineering,
    • A minimum of 5 years relevant sales experience of technical products related to Refrigeration, in the Africa market,
    • Knowledge of the most common used software and applications (e.g., SAP, CRM, Microsoft Office) would be beneficial,
    • Strong personal resilience and self-organization capabilities,
    • Fluency in English. Proficiency in an African language would be an added advantage,
    • Customer focused with the proven ability to collaborate across diverse markets and forge relationships,
    • Personal drive to succeed and self-motivation,
    • Team spirited and results orientated,
    • Strong influencing and negotiation ability,
    • Willing to travel intensively throughout South Africa and other African markets is a must.

    Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Specialist

    Job Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

    • Adhere to QMS Standards: Ensure compliance with Danfoss Quality Management System guidelines.
    • Manage Customer Feedback: Handle feedback, report issues, and resolve them promptly.
    • Implement Quality Solutions: Address concerns through structured problem-solving with stakeholders.
    • Drive Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives for quality enhancement and operational efficiency.
    • Develop Quality Processes: Collaborate on procedures to meet quality targets.
    • Lead Corrective Actions: Implement prompt corrective actions for quality issues.
    • Communicate Effectively: Keep internal and external stakeholders informed on quality performance.
    • Manage QEHS Functions: Improve KPIs related to Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety metrics.
    • Ensure Safety Compliance: Uphold safety regulations and standards.
    • Oversee Safety Policies: Develop and monitor safety and environmental policies.
    • Promote Safety Culture: Encourage safety awareness through training and campaigns.

    The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

    • Bachelor's degree in Quality/Safety is preferred.
    • Minimum of five (5) years in a Quality/Safety role within a plant-manufacturing environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and demanding environment, are required.
    • Extensive experience in leading/facilitating complex 8Ds.
    • Self-driven professional capable of setting direction with peers for a Quality and Safety Roadmap.
    • Experience/knowledge of OSHA, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001.
    • Experience/knowledge of behavior-based safety principles and practices.
    • Workers’ compensation, incident management, and root cause investigation experience.
    • Fluency in English and Afrikaans is a must.
