    Senior Application Specialist: Application Development (.NET)

    • To lead and govern the organisation's Application Development landscape by driving the design, modernization, integration, and support of enterprise applications.     Roles and Responsibilities

    Business Support Administrator

    Purpose of the position

    • Responsible for Administration support within the business.

    Required outputs (functional)

    • Compiling and distributing the sales un invoiced report based on documentation received daily.
    • Compiling and distributing a schedule of all finished goods into the plant daily.
    • Reconciliation of schedules against vendor schedule to ensure all finished goods received balances so that vendor invoices can be processed.
    • Attending to request by sales department for any physical documentation that may be required to invoice customers (waybill, despatch notes etc.)
    • Ensure that all stock into Umbogintwini for finished products received from vendors is transferred as per the schedule.
    • Goods Received Voucher (GRV) of STO for product received into the plant and following up to ensure that the GIT is complete by sales for the GRV to be done to ensure that all inter branch stock movements balance.
    • Creation of production stock orders for the plant as per the daily production schedule
    • Ensuring there is sufficient stock in the system for sales invoicing
    • GRV for stock requisitions for stock issued.
    • Preparation for monthly stock counts by ensuring all invoicing is complete or PGI, stock balances to production schedule, ensure all reports required are checked and executed prior to the stock count being created for the plant.
    • Investigating and explaining any stock variances.
    • Opening of stock counts for plants when requested
    • Capturing of Stock Counts

    Plant Operator

    Purpose of the job:

    • To operate RO Plant in accordance with standard operating procedure and client requirements based on quality and quantity. Conducting all activities safely according to OHASA and AECI Water SHEQ requirements.

    Required outputs: Functional

    • Conduct Safety checks, process pre-start-ups, conduct daily routine inspection
    • Operate the plant through SCADA programme and correct deviations accordingly
    • Ensure that the handover log sheets is completed accurately.
    • Perform analysis on plant water samples as required and report if any deviations.

    SHEQ Officer

    Purpose of Job

    Laboratory Technician

    Purpose of the Job

    • To provide a timeous analytical service to the companies within the Umbogintwini Industrial Complex (UIC) process plants and to external customers to the required standards of precision, accuracy and output, according to predetermined procedures and methods

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Organising priorities of work to ensure timeous reporting of results
    • Direct contact with Process supervision for immediate reporting of out-of-specification analyses

    EHS Practitioner

    Purpose of the Job

    • To execute Group and AECI Property Services Safety Health and Environment (SHE) Risk strategy and ensures an ever-increasing Safety, Health and Environmental culture exists throughout AECI Property Services – Umbogintwini for employees, customers, visitors, contractors and to a certain degree, to the tenants housed within the Industrial Complex.

    Mechanical Fitter

    Purpose of the job

    • To maintain plant and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.

     Key Responsibilities

    • Install and maintain all mechanical equipment on the plant.
    • Perform routine inspections, repairs and maintenance work on equipment to ensure the maximum availability of equipment for production.
    • Maintain Maintenance Connection works orders and Preventive Maintenance Schedules.
    • Create site reports and update Maintenance Connection of any Equipment change on site.
    • Keep all statutory and non-statutory files and documents up to date at all times.
    • Assist Mechanical supervisor with ensuring Pressure Equipment and Process Safety

    • 5+ years’ experience as a qualified artisan including at least two years in a chemical / petrochemical environment.
    • Practical and administrative knowledge relating to statutory requirements (OHASA etc.) 
    • Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management System.
