Your Role:
- As a Flexi Store Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring an outstanding shopping experience, supporting sales success, and upholding our brand’s reputation through meticulous stock and cash management.
Key Responsibilities:
Cash Control & Accuracy
- Perform cash desk duties efficiently while ensuring zero variances.

Key Areas of Impact:
- Work with stores team supervisors to ensure sufficient material availability
- Ensure live recording of incoming material and issues, transfers and returns
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for effective storage control (including review and update of existing SOP’s)
- Manage stock accuracy through daily cycle counts
- Stock count report and variance analysis
- Monthly Stock count report and age analysis report
- Implement and maintain proper stock rotation
- Allergen management and control in storage
- Minimize stock write-offs and obtain approval for obsolete items
- Ensure clear and effective communication to buyers on materials
- Identify training requirements within the stores
- Frequently analyse capacity constraints of all stores operations
- Establish a firm interface between stores and processing/production
- Attend and report back on material constraints daily to logistics manager and buyers
- Focus attention on potential bottlenecks in stores to ensure optimum space efficiency
- Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Forklifts and Forklift driver management
- Ensure that health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to
- Management of timesheets, absenteeism and temp labour requirements
- Submit weekly summary to the Logistics manager of damages in stores
- Attendance of daily production planning meeting in order to arrange labour requirements accordingly
- Oversee finished goods transfer planning to distribution centre

Experience:
- At least 3 years' experience in a Factory Logistics Coordinator (inbound / warehousing) specifically gained within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- SAP experience essential
Qualifications and Certifications that will contribute to your success:
- A completed tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Warehousing required
Additional requirements that will enhance your impact for success:
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Proven experience of supervising people and performance
- Exposure to Industrial Relations (managing poor performance, disciplinary hearings)
- Knowledge of Inventory Management Processes and Systems
- Might be required to work shifts when needed

- Responsible for the entire procure-to-pay process within the profile
- Processing and matching of all invoices using the 3-way matching technique
- Request for invoices, proof of deliveries, and supporting documents for any and all unprocessed documents from suppliers, buyers and or site personnel
- Resolve all supplier reconciling items and supplier queries within the month and ensure that suppliers are paid timely on due dates in accordance with set trading terms
- Reconcile supplier accounts monthly and ensure that the accounts are in a current state
- Ensure that purchase orders, receipt report (GR/IR), age analysis, MRBR reports (blocked invoices) etc. are reviewed and resolved in a timely manner
- Meet all deadlines as outlined within the department
What It Takes to Succeed:
Experience that set you up for success:
- 5 years experience working as a Creditors Clerk / Accounts Payable Administrator
- Experience working in a high volume environment, manually capturing no less than 700 invoices per month
- Processing and matching of all invoices using 3 way matching
- Experience with Recons
- Experience dealing with multiple departments and multiple stakeholders within your organisation
- Previous experience working on SAP ERP is preferred
Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Finance related qualification would be advantageous
