    Job Description

    Key Performance Area

    Strategic Impact

    Managing the Firm’s physical security across all Offices;

    • Manage and guide the Firm’s physical security protection (guards)
    • Manage the Firm’s service level agreements with security services providers;
    • Implementing, and maintaining physical security processes, practices, and policies throughout the organisation in order to reduce risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure and liability;
    • Investigate and act against any form of malicious / criminal activities against the firm i.e. fraud, industrial espionage, theft, intellectual property theft;
    • Provide reports and recommendations concerning any malicious act or incident affecting the safety and security of Deloitte’s employees, physical assets;
    • Identifying areas of risk, and developing a cohesive proactive strategy to mitigate and reduce those risks;
    • Creating a process of regular periodic review and evaluation of organisational preparedness;
    • Assist the Occupational Health and Safety teams in the event of an incident and ensure that the physical security controls are not compromised as a result of an incident i.e. emergency evacuations should have compensating controls to limit any form of damage;
    • Maintaining a current knowledge base of industry standards and applicable laws and regulatory requirements;
    • Planning and implementing site security, operations, and activities to ensure protection of executives, employees, customers, and visitors, as well as physical and information assets, while ensuring optimal use of personnel and equipment Prepare responses to Adhoc requests from DTTL

    • Security Management Diploma, Criminal Justice, or similar is a minimum, or internationally recognised industry certifications and expertise in security related disciplines.

    Minimum Experience

    • 2 to 5 years’ working experience within the relevant function

    Desired Experience

    • Successful record of accomplishment over a minimum period of 10 years in Security or Risk Management capacity with strong interpersonal experience.
    • Extensive knowledge of physical security risk management.
