    Hairdresser - Independent Contractor (SLA Agreement)

    Duties include but are not limited to the following:

    • Conferring with clients to determine their hairdressing needs, preferences, and specifications.
    • Advising clients on suitable haircuts as well as hairstyles and hair color based on their physical features and hair type.
    • Cutting, trimming, and shaping clients' hair as well as wigs, hair extensions, hairpieces, and toupes based on clients’ preferences and specifications.
    • Shampooing, conditioning, and drying clients’ hair.
    • Providing various hair coloring treatments to clients after inquiring into possible hair dye sensitivities and allergies that they may have.
    • Using various hairstyling tools and equipment, including hair straighteners, curling irons, rollers, hairdryers, and hot combs, to style clients’ hair accordingly.
    • Cleaning and sterilizing all hairdressing tools and instruments to ensure that state health and safety standards are met.

    Qualifications:

    Experience and Knowledge:

    • Work experience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, Colorist or similar role
    • Proficiency in hair straightening and curling methods, using hot irons and curlers
    • Hands-on experience with various coloring techniques
    • Adaptable - exploring creativity and staying on top of the latest trends
    • Strong knowledge of classic and creative cutting technique
    • Good colour knowledge
    • Strong on customer service

    Waiter

    duties include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Changing table linen as required and ensuring dirty or damaged linen is counted and exchanged for clean, usable items.
    • Cleaning and refilling cruet and condiment sets.
    • Setting tables to laid-down standards, ensuring that all items used are clean, undamaged and in a good state of repair.
    • Maintain designated areas to meet required hygiene standards
    • Have thorough knowledge of all menu items to confidently recommend or explain options to residents.

    Estate Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and manage essential estate services including maintenance ,plant assets, security, , waste disposal, and recycling.
    • Implement strategic maintenance planning.
    • Promote a professional, high-service culture among staff and contractors.
    • Manage maintenance assistants and garden supervisor and coordinate their day-to-day duties.
    • Identify and manage Estate maintenance needs and project priorities.
    • Coordinate and respond proactively to resident maintenance requests
    • Follow and contribute to company rosters and schedules to improve service delivery.
    • Oversee and authorise maintenance requisitions for the Body Corporate and Healthcare Centre, and track delivery.
    • Facilitate communication between management and contractors for streamlined service.
    • Supervise on-site contractors including security,garden supervisors,  and maintenance providers.
    • Monitor and manage external service providers against agreed SLAs, addressing any service or staffing issues.
    • Oversee operational staff including the driver, security, maintenance assistants, and garden supervisors.
    • Monitor attendance and leave, and ensure adequate task coverage at all times.
    • Work with HR on recruitment, and manage time owing in collaboration with payroll.
    • Train, support, and guide staff to help them reach their full potential.
    • Prepare reports and recommendations for the Village Manager and trustees.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Maintain clear and effective communication with residents, staff, tenants, and visitors.
    • Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders through thoughtful, respectful engagement.
    • Lead and manage change with minimal disruption to core activities.
    • Conduct regular audits and  promptly address non-compliance.
    • Address any Health & Safety risks including performing  proactive “walk-abouts” to identify and mitigate risks.
    • Prioritise safety of residents and staff at all times, including during emergencies.
    • Manage security contractors and maintain the Estate’s Security Operating Plan.

    Qualifications:

    • Tertiary Qualification in Facilities Management, Property Management, Operations Management, or a related field – Advantageous
    • Health & Safety Certification (e.g. First Aid, Fire Safety, OHS training) – Advantageous

    Kitchen Sculler

    Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

    • To ensure that the kitchen is clean and tidy, equipment is clean and dustbins have been emptied
    • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans
    • Ensure fridges, windows and walls are clean at all times
    • Remove waste, placing it in designated pickup areas
    • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
    • To adhere to the health and hygiene standards in the kitchen

    Experience and knowledge:

    • Sweep synthetic turf in courtyards

    Qualifications

    Senior Sous Chef - Southern Suburbs

    Responsibilities include, but not be limited:

    • Managing and mentoring chefs, ensuring proper weekly training and adherence to food safety standards as well as policies and procedures.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among kitchen staff.
    • Monitor food presentation, taste, and consistency to meet high standards.

    Front of House Manager - Somerset West

    Specific duties include, but is not limited to the following:

    • Manage meal reservations, seating arrangements, and ensure cleanliness of tables, cutlery, and glassware.
    • Oversee beverage service, including special occasion cocktails and attentive wine service.
    • Manage waiter schedules, shifts, and replacements, verifying hours and handling feedback.
    • Ensure staff are well-trained on company policies and procedures.
    • Supervise meal and beverage service in the clubhouse and healthcare facilities with waiter support.
    • Coordinate afternoon tea and cake service, collaborate with bar staff, and handle daily cash reconciliation for the bar and coffee shop.

    • Assist the Village Manager with event setups, themed lunches, and special functions. 
    • Welcome residents, assist with event setup and breakdown and ensure the patio umbrellas are opened during favourable weather conditions and properly folded at the conclusion of each day. 
    • Conduct daily inspections of clubhouse equipment, lighting, and temperature settings; report discrepancies to management.

    Qualifications:

    • Tertiary qualification in Hospitality advantageous

    Experience: 

    • Proven experience in the hospitality industry and/or similar environment
    • Knowledge of serving etiquette and basic wine knowledge
