    Tradesman Aid

    Requirements :

    • Grade 10 and N2 in Mechanical Engineering. Qualification in Motor or Diesel mechanics will be an added advantage.
    • 1 or more years’ experience in preparing auto vehicles for repairs. 1 or more years’ experience in a workshop environment.

    Duties :

    • Conduct and manage all accident repairs on g-FleeT vehicles, including Assist in performing preventive maintenance work, such as engine tune-ups, oil change, filter replacement, tire rotation, and wheel balance testing. Assist with the training and development of all mechanics for accident repair;
    • Assist in conducting repairs and replacements of parts and components according to specifications and aiming for maximum reliability. Generate reports on accident repairs, assist in troubleshooting and resolving functionality problems reported by clients. U
    • pdating repair records and maintaining vehicle records. Assist in assessment of vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues. Liaise with clients to determine their automotive requirements and communicate vehicular defects or problems.

    Admin Clerk: HR Utilization Employee Relation and Wellness

    Requirements :

    • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification. No experience needed. A Valid, minimum Code B/EB, Driver’s License.

    Duties :

    • Administer implementation of PMDS: Ensure that Performance contracts and all reviews are submitted timeously in line with the DPSA time requirements. Capturing and filling all reviews. Employee Relations: Receiving and opening file for new grievances.
    • Prepare venue for all Labour relations matters. Employee Health and Wellness: Organize and facilitate Health screening campaigns for employees.
    • Implementation of OHS: Conduct inspections and risks assessments. Facilitate capacity building programmes and interventions in terms of OHS.
    • Training and Development: Consolidate employee training needs. Perform any other training task as delegated by the Supervisor.

    Admin Clerk: Fleet Acquisition

    Requirements :

    • Grade 12 (Matric). No experience required. A Valid, minimum Code B/EB, Driver’s License.

    Duties :

    • Open files for new vehicles: Open new vehicle files after receiving new vehicle purchase orders. the new files are opened with the GG number, make and model ordered as well as details of the client for whom the vehicle is procured.
    • Keep internal vehicle register up to date: enter the new vehicle details on the vehicle register when purchase order is received. Update the vehicle register when the vehicle is delivered.
    • Receive new vehicle: receive the new vehicle from the suppliers / OEMs with the relevant documentation such as Proof of Delivery (POD), Manufacturer certificate or the Original Registration and license documents as well as the invoice.
    • Inspect and mark new vehicle: Physically inspect vehicles dents, scratches or any other defects. Inspect vehicle speedometer, indicators, wipers, air conditioner and audio system to ascertain they are in good working order.
    • Ascertain whether the vehicle is delivered as per client’s specifications (e.g. all necessary options like Canopies, Towbar, etc.) are fitted. Any after sales fitments such as blue lights must be indicated on the internal Job card. Hand over vehicle, together with the internal job card, to Fleet Logistics within the Directorate.

    Administrative Clerk

    Requirements :

    • Grade 12 (Matric). No Criminal Record. No Experience Required.

    Duties :

    • Capture Chauffeur Services requisitions: Capturing trip requests, monitor pending list, allocate requisitions accordingly, Confirmation of services to be rendered to client.
    • Ensure that all vehicle expired license discs are checked receive and placed on the vehicles: Regularly inspection for validity of license Discs, ensure that user department receive license discs, keep record of received/distributed license discs.
    • Dispatch and receive vehicles to/from clients: Verification of all service-related documentations, Inspection of vehicle.
    • Apply proper chauffeur services and information management on the web-based Fleet Information System (FIS): Monitoring of captured chauffeur trips, Keep record of daily chauffeur activities.

    Requirements :

    • Grade 12 qualification. Code C Driving License. Professional Driving Permit. No Experience Required. 

    Duties :

    • Drive Clients (Chauffeur or Shuttle Service): Timeously collect and transport clients to and from their various destinations safely. Manage time by planning and executing the fastest route to client’s destination. Communicate changes to planned route. Apply road safety standards during trips. Keep ambient temperature during trips. Interact with clients in a professional manner.
    • Deliver items: Deliver items like documents, mail, cars etc. to g-FleeT stakeholders and clients. Keep record of deliveries.
    • Provide safe driving to clients: Apply defensive driving techniques. Heighten awareness and apply hijack avoidance techniques. Apply fire safety knowledge (Basic First Aid, Fire Extinguishing, etc.). Understand maps (e.g., Google Maps).
    • Provide Frontline Customer Service: Respect clients. Put clients at ease. Keep a neat and tidy presentation. Assist chauffeured client with luggage at their destination. Provide information to clients with regards to estimated time of arrival. Respond to client queries in a polite and honest manner. Be an ambassador and promote g-FleeT’s services and brand.
    • Record Trips: Keep an updated vehicle logbook. Sign off trips once completed. Apply proper document management practice: Accurately complete requisition forms. Accurately complete accident/damage/losses forms.
    • Upkeep vehicles: Ensure vehicles are clean and that they have enough fuel prior to undertaking a trip. Report any vehicle issue(s) that may negatively affect providing the service to clients. Follow-up on license disk renewal and validity. Ensure that service schedules of vehicles are adhered to and affected timeously.
