    Credit & Pricing Analyst

    About the Role

    • As the Credit & Pricing Analyst, you sit right at the commercial heart of the business. Your work shapes P&L outcomes, portfolio performance, customer affordability, and the overall risk-reward balance of the company.
    • This is not a “sit quietly and build models” role.
    • This is a “you own the commercial engine – go make it better” role.
    • You’ll build forecasts, design pricing strategies, improve automated decisioning, dig deep into portfolio performance, and create data-driven recommendations that ripple through the whole organisation.
    • You’ll work directly with the senior credit leadership team, and your models will influence how sales teams operate in multiple countries.

    What You’ll Actually Do
    Profitability & Pricing

    • Build and refine pricing models that drive sustainable margins.
    • Simulate and quantify the impact of pricing or policy changes on P&L.

    Credit Performance Forecasting

    • Develop and maintain forward-looking models for repayment, defaults, and portfolio health.
    • Produce forecasts used by finance, operations, and leadership.

    Credit Risk Model Development

    • Analyse behavioural and transactional data to improve automated decision engines.
    • Backtest models, monitor stability, and refine risk buckets.

    Analytical Exploration

    • Test hypotheses, prototype new approaches, run experiments, and uncover hidden opportunities.
    • Bring new thinking into product, credit, and commercial discussions.

    Portfolio Insights & Actionable Recommendations

    • Identify trends and pain points in performance.
    • Turn complex patterns into simple, actionable guidance for in-country teams.
    • Connect your models to the operational reality of life on the ground.

    Ownership & Commercial Impact

    • Go beyond analysis – you’ll help teams execute, iterate, and embed changes so that improvements actually show up in the numbers.

    Who You Are
You don’t need to tick every box – but you’ll thrive here if:

    • You have 2-5 years in analytics, credit, pricing, risk, or data science.
    • You’re great with SQL and comfortable with Python or R for modelling.
    • You know your way around credit scorecards, pricing logic, or financial forecasting.
    • You understand behavioural data and can separate signal from noise.
    • You can communicate complex ideas simply, clearly, and confidently.
    • You take ownership – the kind where you don’t just build the model, you follow through until it lands in the real world.
    • You have a curious, practical, analytical mind that loves solving commercial puzzles.
    • You enjoy understanding how things work on the ground, not just in a spreadsheet.
    • You’re open to traveling to the countries where your work directly impacts customers.
    • You want your work to have real meaning.

    What You’ll Love

    • A mission with real social impact
    • A close-knit Cape Town HQ with a scale-up feel
    • Gorgeous offices, collaborative culture, and autonomy from day one
    • Hybrid flexibility (roughly half office / half remote)
    • Travel opportunities across several African markets
    • Annual retreats and plenty of learning opportunities
    • ESOP participation after year one
    • A fast-moving, intellectually stimulating environment where curiosity is rewarded

    Junior Data Analyst

    About the Role

    • As a Junior Data Analyst, you’re the person who helps the company make smarter decisions using data – not guesswork.
    • You’ll dive into operational data, uncover insights, build dashboards, and support teams across credit, sales, operations, and product. You’ll learn fast, work closely with mentors, and develop a solid foundation in analytics, storytelling, and business problem‑solving.
    • This is a hands-on, high-growth learning environment – perfect if you love solving puzzles, asking why things happen, and making data useful for real humans in real markets.

    What You’ll Be Doing
    Here’s a taste of your day-to-day:

    Dig Into Data

    • Write SQL queries to extract and explore operational data.
    • Spot patterns, trends, and “huh, that’s interesting…” signals.

    Build Reports & Dashboards

    • Create clean, intuitive dashboards that teams actually use.
    • Turn raw data into simple stories that drive decisions.

    Support Data-Driven Decisions

    • Work with sales, credit, product, and ops teams to understand their questions.
    • Translate business needs into analysis, insights, and recommendations.

    Own Data Quality

    • Validate datasets, flag gaps, and help improve data hygiene.
    • Ensure stakeholders trust the numbers you put in front of them.
    • You’ll touch a bit of everything – analysis, visualisation, problem‑solving, and communication – while learning from a team that genuinely wants to help you grow.

    Who You Are

    • You don’t need years of experience – just potential, curiosity, and a willingness to learn quickly.

    You’ll thrive if:

    • You have a degree in Stats, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or similar.
    • You’re comfortable writing SQL and working with spreadsheets.
    • You’ve used tools like Tableau or Power BI (or you’re keen to learn).
    • Bonus: you’ve touched Python or R, even lightly.
    • You’re curious, analytical, and love figuring out why numbers behave the way they do.
    • You enjoy explaining your findings simply – charts over jargon.
    • You’re organised, detail‑oriented, and ok with ambiguity.
    • You’re excited to work in fast-moving African markets and open to travelling when needed.
    • You want your work to matter.

    E-Commerce Manager

    Overview:

    • This is not a “keep-the-lights-on” e-commerce role.
    • This is a build-from-scratch, own-the-channel opportunity inside a founder-led, globally ambitious consumer brand business that is actively challenging how premium brands show up online.
    • E-commerce is a strategic growth engine here, not a side project. As E-Commerce Manager, you will take full ownership of the channel end-to-end, starting with Germany and expanding internationally. From performance and profitability to platform, creative, data, and growth strategy, this space is yours to shape.
    • You will be trusted to think differently, move fast, and avoid the same tired FMCG e-commerce playbook. If your instinct is to question templates, challenge “best practice,” and build something commercially sharp and culturally relevant, you will feel very at home.
    • This role will be working closely with Marketing, Sales, and International Markets to ensure alignment and momentum. It is entrepreneurial, hands-on, and designed to grow both the channel and the role itself. If you succeed, you will build a team around you and turn this into a fully-fledged global function.
    • If you are a self-starter who wants real ownership, real accountability, and the freedom to create something meaningful without layers of bureaucracy slowing you down, this is a rare chance to make a very visible impact.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    E-Commerce Ownership & Commercial Performance

    • Own the e-commerce channel end-to-end, starting with Germany
    • Run the online shop as a standalone, performance-driven sales channel
    • Take full ownership of revenue, margins, conversion, AOV, repeat purchase, and profitability

    International Expansion Strategy

    • Define and execute the international e-commerce expansion roadmap
    • Work closely with Finance to ensure scalability, control, and commercial viability across markets

    Website & Platform Management

    • Own website structure, UX, functionality, and ongoing optimisation (there is extra support on this)
    • Make hands-on updates to the website and manage platform changes
    • Ensure the site is fast, intuitive, on-brand, and commercially effective
    • Manage and brief external tech partners where required

    Performance Marketing & SEO

    • Own all paid performance marketing activity across markets
    • Own SEO strategy and execution
    • Manage budgets with a strong focus on ROI and ROAS
    • Continuously test, optimise, and scale what works

    Data, Analytics & Reporting

    • Own all e-commerce reporting and data analysis
    • Track traffic, funnel performance, conversion, CAC, ROAS, retention, and LTV
    • Translate data into clear actions and commercial decisions
    • Report regularly into Finance with clarity and insight

    Creative Direction & Execution

    • Lead creative direction for e-commerce content and campaigns
    • Guide internal creative resources and ensure execution quality
    • Balance strong brand storytelling with performance-driven creative
    • Continuously test creative to improve results

    Distributor & Market Alignment

    • Work closely with distributors to ensure alignment on e-commerce strategy
    • Align pricing, promotions, messaging, and mechanics with market strategy
    • Act as a bridge between Finance, Marketing, Sales, and international markets

    Function & Team Build-Out

    • Design the future structure of the e-commerce function
    • Hire and lead a team as the channel scales
    • Set clear KPIs, processes, and ways of working

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in e-commerce or DTC, ideally within FMCG, spirits, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands
    • Strong hands-on technical ability to manage and update e-commerce platforms
    • Experience in performance marketing and SEO
    • Highly analytical, commercially minded, and data-driven
    • Entrepreneurial, builder mindset and comfortable starting from zero
    • Confident challenging convention and doing things differently
    • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
    • Based in Cape Town, with a genuine appetite for international exposure and growth
