    Design Engineer / Draughtsman (Coega), Gqeberha

    • Our client has a vacancy for a Design Engineer / Draughtsman, on a permanent basis, based in Gqeberha (Coega), Eastern Cape.

    Applicants are required to strictly meet the following criteria:

    • Grade 12 with a Mechanical Degree / Diploma; Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Inventory is essential
    • 3+ years’ experience required in fabrication, piping / structural design environment (not construction)
    • Valid drivers, own vehicle and excellent technical accuracy
    • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously             
    • Good communication ability, with Afrikaans proficiency beneficial

    The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

    • Produce accurate 2D and 3D design and fabrication drawings using Autodesk Inventor
    • Interpret project specifications, sketches, and engineering input to generate practical and buildable drawings
    • Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and industry regulations
    • Collaborate with Project Managers and Workshop Supervisors to optimize designs and reduce rework
    • Maintain and update drawing libraries, templates, and standard parts to improve design efficiency and consistency

    • Our client has a vacancy for an Executive Sales candidate, on a permanent basis, based in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.

    Applicants are required to strictly meet the following criteria:

    • Grade 12 with a proven track record (5+ years) in the sales industry of achieving sales targets essential
    • Knowledge of and exposure to the boating industry advantageous
    • Excellent proposal writing / presentation skills and a strong CRM background

    Requirement and responsibilities would include, but not limited to :

    General Administration duties:

    • Maintaining the filing system / Regular archiving of documentation

    Month end tasks and schedules

    • Updating of all month-end related schedules

    Stakeholder Management

    • Develop costing sheets and quotation lists; revalidate quotes annually

    Documentation & Reporting

    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and progress reports
    • Organize and store supplier quotes and correspondence in designated directories
    • Manage approved drawing registers for each project
    • Conduct bi-weekly update inspections, generate snag lists, and track resolution
    • Lead post-project evaluations and use lessons learned to support continuous improvement
