    Procurement Buyer

    Purpose of the Position:

    • The Procurement Buyer is responsible for executing tactical and transactional sourcing activities across all procurement categories, including raw materials, packaging, commerce, professional services, and supply chain investments.

    Regional Trade Marketing Manager Eastern Cape

    PURPOSE OF POSITION 

    • To develop the regional go to market strategy and manage a team to deliver, optimize and drive execution of brand, channel, and regional strategies.     Strategic

    Production machine learning and technical expertise:

    Growth & Innovation Manager Beer

    Purpose of the job:

    • The Growth & Innovation Manager is responsible for leading and crafting sustainable brand revenue growth through market and trend analysis, consumer, customer, shopper insight, fostering an innovative culture and developing the 5-year innovation pipelines in and beyond the bottle.

Including qualitative, quantitative, conjoint elasticity, and shopper studies to assess volumetric impact of initiatives on total business incremental growth.
    • Commercialisation of Innovation Projects: Costing analysis of liquid and pack COGS, and production costs and overheads with Finance and RMG stakeholders to optimize margin accretion of all innovation projects.

    TTL Campaigns, Trade Marketing, and Shopper Strategies:

    • Campaign Ideation and Execution: Lead the ideation and execution of TTL creative marketing campaigns, using innovative approaches to enhance brand visibility, consumer experience, and engagement. Develop and execute all campaigns related to innovation and pack launches.
    • Trade Marketing and Shopper Strategies: Co-creation of trade marketing strategies using shopper market research to understand consumer behavior and preferences across channels. Collaborate on playbook guardrails with trade marketing for segmentation strategies, premium visibility, promotions, and activations.

    RMG Commercial Capability: Pricing, Mix, and PPA

    • Commercial Capability: Develop price positioning guidelines for sustainable revenue growth and profitability across the portfolio in partnership with RMG. Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer and customer behaviour to adjust pricing strategy accordingly. Lead the use of advanced RMG tools (e.g. conjoint) to evaluate price elasticity, competitor relativity, and volumetric impact.
    • Mix and Margin Management: Analyse product mix and margin performance to identify areas for improvement ensuring a full value chain and total  P&L assessment of pack, product, and category mix.
    • Pack and Price Marketing: Assess competitor landscape pack value curves and pricing gaps for new profit pools to optimize and develop new pack and format launches at magic price points.

    Promotional Effectiveness and Performance Analysis

    • Promotional Effectiveness: Evaluate promotional activities and campaign effectiveness in driving volume, revenue, and profitability return on investment. Develop data driven insights to measure the success of growth and innovation projects and make recommendations for optimization.
    • Performance Analysis and Metrics: Conduct regular performance analysis to measure the effectiveness of revenue management, brand, and trade marketing initiatives. Establish and monitor key KPIs vs business plan including volume, revenue, GP, listings, ranging, weighted and numeric distribution, promotion, rate of sale, open orders, stock on hand, expiry and write off risks.

    Operational Management: 

    • Resource Management: Oversee budgets for growth and innovation projects, ensuring efficient allocation of resources in line with ROFO principles.

    • Responsible for crushing and pressing cellar and related activities during harvest.
    • Ensuring wine is delivered to the Packaging Department timeously.
    • Ensuring all quality systems are maintained and followed in the Winemaking Department.
    • Manage subordinates (Time management, disciplining and training of staff).
    • Identification and management of grape quality with the grape Purchasing Department.
    • Liaising with other Heineken sites, and the Wine Buying Department to produce wines in the desired style timeously
    • Attend internal and external wine tastings.
    • Establish successful networks with service departments and customers.
    • Actively participate in TPM  business initiatives.

    The successful candidate must have the following qualification, skills and experience:

    • A relevant BSc Degree or Elsenburg diploma in Cellar Technology.
    • Must have relevant experience within a cellar and or have completed a harvest.
    • Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
    • Sound conflict handling experience/skills.
    • Computer literacy in MS Office Suite.
    • Knowledge and experience in the SAP system will be advantageous.
    • Ability to work independently, identify and solve problems and make relevant decisions.
    • Good time management and co-ordination skills.
    • Willing to work overtime
    • Own reliable transport
    • Be self-motivated and action driven.

    PM Technician I

    Key Performance

    • Executes all planned (preventive) jobs safely and OTIF.
    • Executes planned (preventive) legal related maintenance tasks safely and OTIF.
    • Executes all planned (preventive) jobs OTIF and with the required quality.
    • Executes all planned (preventive) work.
    • Coaches, trains and supports CILT execution.
    • Conducts Tagging if required or appropriate.
    • Supports AM by demonstrating (CILT) standards.
    • Support creation of SMED settings.
    • Applies standards for change overs.
    • Repairs damaged change over parts.
    • Continues and follows up on breakdown analysis.
    • Utilizes the work preparation room.
    • Reports to the planned maintenance team lead.
    • Communicates and cooperates with operations and shift technicians before, during and after execution.
    • Communicate with the planning & preparation team.
    • Analyses corrective maintenance for designated zone.
    • Supports on management of maintenance plans, asset master data, asset performance and cost analysis (asset technical specialist).
    • Participates in RCFA (5 why) or organized for his/her team to participate, including training/mentoring.
    • Trains shift technicians in troubleshooting of frequent failures.
    • Supports operators in attacking MTBx.
    • Daily collects required maintenance information and data from designated zone.
    • Reports on planned maintenance work (technical and administrative reporting).

    Requirements:

    • 3 years working experience in FMCG maintenance.
    • Millwright or Fitter trade test certificate.
    • Matric with NTC4 qualification
    • Maintenance experience on Krones and KHS Bottle Fillers, Bottle Washers, Depalletize and Palletizers will be advantageous
    • Good trouble-shooting skills.
    • Very good technical machines knowledge.
    • Ability to actively support and participate in Technical Problem Solving
    • Basic knowledge of maintenance engineering, supply and inventory management processes.
