    Product Owner

    Job description
    Craft the team vision, mission and strategy in partnership with the product manager and other stakeholders, and motivate team members to align to those goals 

    • Continuously align delivery to the Tracker and team strategy and planning 
    • Provide input into the annual salary review process as and when required 
    • Own the product roadmap, collate own input with input from higher levels to derive a cohesive roadmap that is continually reviewed 
    • Actively engage in requirements gathering process to ensure needs of the user and various stakeholders are understood and translated into relevant documentation. When requirements are input to the team, review and refine these requirements 
    • Ensure items are prioritised in collaboration with key stakeholders. Manage their expectations with regards to delivery, delays, alternative plans etc. 
    • Deliver strategic projects on time, in budget, with the desired functionality, at the defined quality level in a sustainable way.
    • Ensure product specific targets such as customer impact are met e.g. increased customer engagement.
    • Ensure delivery is continuously aligned to the business and technology team strategy
    • Ensure collaboration and alignment where possible between Web, Android and iOS initiatives (Consumer and Business)
    • Set up metrics to evaluate the product's success and gather feedback for continuous improvement 
    • Understand the business strategy around relevant area and ensure that area aligned to this and its continuously communicated to the team 
    • Clear and concise communication with all stakeholders in required/appropriate format (detail where necessary) 
    • Strengthen relationships with both internal and external stakeholders 
    • Compile reporting on area as and whenrequired
    • Share knowledge with development and support teams.
    • Document systems, including enhancements to facilitate knowledge sharing
    • Manage the product backlog ensuring adherence to standards such as ticket quality, and ensuring proper prioritization according to value delivery
    • Define and validate acceptance criteria for user stories to ensure quality and functionality
    • Own and manage the release cycles

    Minimum requirements

    • Relevent Degree / Diploma with 4 years of relevant work experience or 6 years of relevant work experience.
    • Relevant certification e.g. Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Certified Product Manager (CPM)
    • Experience in SCRUM AGILE methodology required
    • Experience in UX for flowcharting, wireframing and prototyping is beneficial
    • Experience in UI Design for validating design
    • Experience in requirements gathering to source, review and refine requirements in preparation for delivery
    • Experience in stakeholder management and to ensure alignment of expectations is required
    • Experience in delivering digital applications in collaboration with a development team is essential. This includes delivering web or mobile applications
    • Exposure to Whiteboarding/Presentation tools such as Miro, Figma is beneficial
    • Experience in managing a product roadmap and product backlog is required, exposure to Azure Devops for backlog and sprint management recommended.
    • Assist with tasks assigned from time to time
    • Might be required to work extended hours – as and when agreed

    Integration Test Analyst

    Introduction

    • TRACKER requires the services of an Integration Test Analyst in the Technology Department. We require a self-starter with an outgoing personality and the ability to communicate at all levels. The successful candidate will be required to facilitate Testing within the Technology testing team. Responsible for designing, developing, and executing quality assurance and control processes, test strategies, test plans and test cases that verify software conformance to defined acceptance criteria (i.e. system behaviors) and feature design documents, as well as application standards. In addition to functional, regression and integration testing, the Integration Test Analyst is responsible complete end to end testing on a per project basis encompassing multiple systems, teams and engaging with the test analyst per system. Responsibilities include but not limited to, linking test cases to business/systems requirements to ensure traceability, execute test cases, log defects and the creation of test ware.     Test Strategy/approach/plan:

    • Develops test plan, approach and scope.
    • Provide test estimates for project & incidents.

    Requirements Management:

    • Reviews functional requirements.
    • Analyse requirements for completeness, correctness and clarity, to drive the testing effort.

    Developing Test Scenarios:

    • Defines test scenarios.
    • Test Case Design.
    • Develops test cases with per system functionality.
    • Define test targets.
    • Define objectives with manager.
    • Analyses and develops the proper test coverage with the stake holders.
    • Traces requirements to test cases to verify test coverage.

    Test Execution:

    • Manage own test preparation and execution activities.
    • Identify and create necessary test data.
    • Executes scenario-based test cases.
    • Analyse metrics for quality assessment.

    Reporting:

    • Traces coverage and clearance.
    • Provides input to standard test metrics and reporting.
    • Works within the project team and test team to address issues and report status.

    Defect Management:

    • Debug the development and execution of test scripts against test targets.
    • Analyse test failures.
    • Priorities defects logged with development team.

    User Acceptance Testing:

    • Work with Business to influence and monitor User Acceptance Testing

    Minimum requirements

    • Matric.
    • ISTQB – Foundation testing certification is a must.
    • IT Diploma or other related qualification.
    • 4 years relevant testing experience (encompassing the skills and knowledge listed below).
    • 2 years’ experience within Tracker or related industry.
    • Experience in software testing including methodologies (agile, functional and non-functional), test planning, test case development, execution, and quality assessment of test cases.
    • Extensive experience developing test cases and test scenarios from story cards/use cases and/or requirements specifications.
    • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
    • Possesses good understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance concepts across the SDLC.
    • Understands test metrics and how they are used for decision support.
    • Understands development practices and structures; SQL & database query tools.
    • Has experience with Requirements Management, Test Management and Defect Management Tools.
    • Willing to work extended hours.
    • Occassionally Willing to travel.

    • Assisting internal and external customers with queries.
    • Susan health checks (HCs)
    • Investigation on all products, including faulty units.
    • Opening, allocating and following up on service requests (including Returned SRs)

    • Assisting with vehicle location.
    • Assisting with afterhours SRs and allocating to standby technicians, according to process.
    • Assisting customers with Finance queries.
    • Odometer updating and unit resetting of all Tracker devices.

    • Assisting with queries regarding Tracker web app, Willow, Fleet Logic, Eagle, Tracker Mobile app, Tracker Home, Tracker Care Guard and android & IOS ratings.
    • Other related tasks or duties assigned by the Supervisor / Line Manager (inclusive of special projects and ad hoc duties).
    • Monitoring of and responding of Hootsuite and Facebook, Twitter as well as other digital media platforms such as LinkedIn, HelloPeter and Tik-Tok.
    • Provide daily reports and feedback to the supervisor, internal and external customers during shift hand over.
    • Handle internal and external complaints and queries; including CEO complaints via digital media, Outlook, web queries and telephone.

    Minimum requirements

    • Matric and 1 year call centre experience.
    • Experience in a technical and/or IT contact centre will be advantageous.
    • Excellent computer skills: MS Office, Facebook, Twitter, MS Outlook as well as MS      Internet Explorer.
    • Understanding of telematics & telecommunications, specifically GSM & satellite communication.
    • Excellent Communication (verbal and written) skills.
    • Experience in dealing with VIP clients.
    • Ability to take ownership of tasks and queries.
    • Able to work under pressure.
    • Excellent knowledge on Tracker CRM, SUSAN application, TMS, CDS, Willow,  FleetLogic and AURA.

    • Matric or Equivalent Qualification at NQF Level 4.
    • Desirable: Diploma in Policing or equivalent Post-Matric qualifications.
    • Essential: Minimum of 5 years relevant experience within the Policing, Law Enforcement or Insurance Investigations environment is required.
    • Essential: Minimum of 5 years proven track record and experience with vehicle identification.
    • Essential: Proven track record of operating effectively in high-risk environments, maintaining situational awareness and applying advanced security measures to mitigate exposure to danger.
    • Extensive experience with a keen understanding of vehicle crime and other crime trends is required.
    • Computer literacy (MS Office and relevant system exposure) is required.
    • PSIRA Grade C Cerificate is required.
    • Desirable: Firearm Competency
    • Valid Vehicle Driver’s License
