    Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator

    Purpose of the job

    • The job will be responsible to coordinate and track all facilities maintenance in order to ensure proper health, supervise a range of suppliers and services, ensuring that day-to-day operations of facilities are performed smoothly, including monitoring small to medium facilities improvements and refresh projects.

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Monitor day-to-day requirements of the provincial properties.
    • Monitors and coordinate maintenance and repairs of the buildings.
    • Plan for the future building space needs and ensuring adequate supply levels in conjunction with Head Office.
    • Manage the facility day to day Health & Safety in accordance with the OHSACT.
    • Manage office support and Security Services.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum: 1 - 2 Year National Higher Certificate in a relevant discipline / NQF level 5 or accredited specialized courses.

    End User Computing Technician

    Purpose of the job

    • To provide remote and onsite LAN and Desktop technical support to Workstations and Network infrastructure, ensuring that the clients requirements are always met and their expectations exceeded.

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Provide first and second level LAN & desktop support.
    • Install and configure new IT equipment.
    • Implementation, customisation and maintenance of the remote software deployment.
    • Provide support to the enterprise’s local IT and software resources.
    • Provide LAN & desktop advisory services to clients.
    • Configure, test, and support live streaming platforms and related ICT systems for organizational meetings and official events.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum: Grade 12 PLUS National Higher Certificate in IT (NQF Level 5) with A+/N+ either as a subject of the Certificate OR as a separate certification (expiry irrelevant).
    • Experience: At least one-year corporate experience in the Service Management / End User Support Environment, OR Call Centre Agent experience with 1 – 2 years relevant experience in the End User Computing services and related LAN Infrastructures Services. Maintenance and support service of the End User Computing Services relating to all LAN Infrastructure Services such as servers, desktops, LAN cabling, switches and other LAN peripherals.

    Technical Writer X2

    Purpose of the job

    • To consult with architecture, engineering and technical staff to prepare technical and design documentation for software solutions. Develop and promote the adoption of documentation templates for system, database, and program information. Responsible for deliverables of substantial scope and complexity.

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical specifications and design documents.
    • Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.
    • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.

    Consultant Client Relationship Management

    Purpose of the job

    • To provide organisational capabilities and services to internal and external customers from conception to delivery thus maximizing customer understanding, build customer relationship and improve customer satisfaction with the aim of increasing profitability for SITA. To oversee, manage and execute projects / activities to establish relationship, monitor, measure, and maintain client contracts, in accordance with legislative requirements and best practices, to ensure that requirements are met.

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Drive portfolio of customers in the assigned cluster to determine and assess existing customers’ needs with the desired ICT requirements profile per cluster customer to provide effective solution approach to deliver within existing contractual constraints policies and SITA commercial service catalogue.
    • In collaboration with service owners, including senior management and key stakeholders, drive the implementation of targeted digital products and solutions for each cluster customer
    • Build, manage and maintain strategic relationships with Government Departments (i.e. SITA service owners) to continuously sustain the SITA business
    • Perform analysis on cluster needs and requirements in collaboration with Business Development team and other internal and external key stakeholders
    • Perform SLA management, monitoring and review
    • Provide management support and ensure implementation, adherence and compliance to the Engagement management methodologies and regulations
    • Manage, coordinate, analyse and identify the risks to minimise the service gaps and with the aim of achieving the agreed service levels
    • Provide inputs into the budgeting process and plan and drive the achievement of the targeted revenue as well as monitoring/controlling the budget to ensure that the expenditure is within the approved Budget.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Required Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science OR bachelor’s degree in commerce or marketing or business administration or economics. SITA to identify and invest in Sales Certifications.
    • Experience: 6 - 7 years working sales and IT experience in the engagement management/ relationship management and/or project management. The incumbent will be required to consult and interact with relevant Government Officials, GITOC Bodies, Government Governance bodies, industry partner, standards generating bodies, accreditation and certification bodies at a senior management and executive level. The incumbent will be required to participate and provide input in implementation of Customer related strategies, SITA Sales Methodology and Sales Process. Must have strong sales and business management skills.

    Senior Specialist: Disaster Recovery

    Purpose of the job

    • The role is responsible for ensuring that the IT Service continuity strategy, processes, and plans and procedures are implemented and maintained. To manage all aspects pertaining to the availability of IT systems in an emergency procedure that may affect the IT operations.     • Certifications : Professional certification such as Cloud certification, Project management, Disaster Recover Certified Specialist Planner (DRCS), Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP). Backup Certification; Systems Administration certification (Microsoft, Linux, Oracle); Cloud certification .strongly preferred.
    • Experience : 5 - 6 years work experience in designing, testing, and implementing disaster recovery plan for IT environment (including data centres, apps, and systems etc.) Experience in documenting and maintaining a disaster recovery plan. Experience in IT Systems backup management. Experience in IT infrastructure platforms, including network and server architecture, virtualization, databases and cloud. Experience in a diverse technology background and experience with tools to orchestrate IT recovery, recovery tools. Experience to manage service providers or cloud services.
