• Maintain good client relations promote the image of Ampath, Manage money/cash flow of depot to facilitate collection of payments for phlebotomy services rendered
• Perform administrative tasks to ensure correct recording and processing of information
• Perform nursing procedures in order to ensure sufficient delivery of nursing services
• Perform safety and quality control tasks to ensure that relevant standards are upheld

Purpose of Position:

To provide the relevant depot with an effective administrative support service and to perform logging and route reporting and printing related tasks.

Requirements:

• Grade 12

Required Experience:

Administration related work experience within a pathology laboratory environment, Knowledge: Medical Terminology, Knowledge: Meditech system

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath
• Perform general administrative tasks to ensure in order to ensure that the relevant documentation is accurate and accessible
• Performing logging related tasks in order to ensure that accurate records and documentation are maintained

Purpose of Position:

To perform routine and stat analyses of samples and maintain analysers / instruments in a clinical laboratory.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Health Sciences Medical Laboratory Science, HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field

Required Experience:

• Experience in pathology laboratory environment, Knowledge: Ampath QC procedures, Knowledge: Instrumentation and Methodologies
•  Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Windows, Knowledge: relevant pathology test procedures
• Knowledge of Ampath Safety
• Health and Environment management policy

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Switchboard functions in order to correctly refer client requests
• Assist with training client service employees to ensure competence
• Implement safety and emergency procedures to ensure safe/ continues working conditions.
• Maintain good client relations to promote the professional image of Ampath.
• Maintain provider and route dictionaries., Perform departmental administrative tasks.
