    Executive Pre-Sales Consultant (e-commerce / Retail / Software Solutions / South Africa / Sales)

    Our client offers the next generation retail management software application that drives customer buying behaviour enabling 'more efficient retailing' at the lowest total cost of operation (TCO). The retail solution is powering over 300 customers, 3,000 installations and 50,000 Point of Sale (POS) counters for various retail channels that includes B2B, B2C, E-commerce and M-commerce.
    The solution on offer is an end to end modular retail software that caters to the needs of Retailers starting from Centralized Head Office functions to Warehouses and Stores.
     
    Job description:

    The Executive – Presales Consultant works closely with the sales team in sales engagements by owning and driving the pre-sales activities including (but not limited to) engaging the customer to qualify the opportunity, develop and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations, develop proposals (RFP/ RFI), formulate optimal solution architecture, performing proof-of-concept / proof-of-values and prototyping based on specific customer requirements, discuss implementation approaches, working closely with alliance partners, etc.
     
    Preferred candidate also would have ability to identify, define, advocate and take to market core offerings/ initiatives in Insurance domain.
     
    Key accountabilities include:

    • Ability to quickly learn the product/application and map it with customer requirement within product boundaries;
    • Excellent Presentation skills.
    • Effectively respond to Requests for information and Requests for pricing (RFP/RFI).
    • Work closely with Sales team to provide product, business and technical inputs to support of pre sales activities.
    • Liaison with Product Managers and Development to understand details of product direction and design and communicate information back to sales organization.
    • Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the products -- Including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs etc.
    • Responsible for staying on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors.
    • Contribute in product centric selling strategies.
    • Responsible for configuring the product demo as per client requirement.
    • Responsible for product demonstration to the client.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Minimum 4 to 8 year experience in a similar role.
    • Should have experience in Retail Domain in IT/ITES segment;
    • Should have prior experience in POS, Retail Solutions, Ecommerce and Mobility solutions
    • Must have good Communication and Customer Interaction / Work with Inside sales team to generate leads;
    • Must come with experience of defining campaign/run webinar etc. with the focus on lead generation.
    • Must have excellent Presentation / product demonstration skills.
    • Graduate or above.

    Head of Sales - Microfinance / SME Finance (Africa / Business Development / Country Manager)

    Job Description

    The company is a housing financier, with a collection mechanism using a salary deduction model, with added services such as insurance and savings products.
     
    Responsibilities:
     
    The Head of Sales will maintain responsibility for the following:

    • The identification and development of new housing and housing microfinance opportunities for the Group, in different countries.
    • Providing an oversight, management, tracking and management advisory role with regard to sales and marketing in all countries of operation.
    • Fulfilling the role of relief country head as and when required.

    Key Deliverables of the Business Development Manager

    • New Country Development:
      • Assist in researching and developing sales budgets or any new countries
      • Assist with appointing new sales teams in new countries
      • Assist in the operationalizing new country operations
    • Sales Management:
      • Drive results per country, against budget
    • Roving Country Manager:
      • Stand in as country manager in the following cases:
      • Where a current country manager is ill or on leave.
      • Where a country manager has resigned or has been suspended or dismissed.
      • Where an unfilled vacancy exists.
      • Act as trouble shooter for a wide range of operational challenges in the following cases:
      • Where specific country operational challenges require specialist attention.
      • In cases where turnaround strategies are required.
    • Sales Analysis:
      • Monitor daily sales results for each country.
      • Monitor sales strategy implementation in each country.
      • Monitor sales staff activity in each country.
      • Monitor product and sectoral performance in each country.
    • Marketing Management:
      • Assessing of competitors' value propositions in each country and making appropriate recommendations for amendments to the firm’s existing offerings in each country.
      • Recommending of amended/additional strategies for products in each country.
      • Monitoring and management of all external sales and marketing campaigns, advertising and promotions, to ensure accuracy and consistency of image, presentation and message.
      • Ensuring that the rollout of the new corporate identity is appropriately rolled out and implemented in each country.

    Requirements: Qualification and Skill

    A relevant tertiary qualification is essential.

    Experience / Background Preference

    • The company will only look at candidates who have no less than TEN years related work experience.
    • Previous experience within the financial services sector is essential.
    • Furthermore, previous experience within the Microfinance sector is essential.
    • Previous marketing and/or new business development experience is essential.
    • Experience on the African continent (outside of South Africa) is essential.

    • Willingness to travel extensively

    Senior Advisory & Corporate Finance Executive (deal origination & execution)

    Job Description

    The company is a pan-African investment bank.  The Senior Executive Corporate Finance & Advisory will be responsible for providing experienced deal execution capability to the Johannesburg-based advisory team, as well as the advisory teams across our African footprint.  In addition, the Senior Executive Corporate Finance & Advisory will be experienced in managing and developing client relationships, be a team player and client focused, aware of relevant trends across different industries in Africa and have proven ability to originate new engagements.
     
    Responsibilities:

    • Project manage the execution of advisory and private equity transactions.
    • Analyse and execute M & A transactions, capital raisings (both equity and debt) and other corporate actions originating in the markets, as well as assist with and be responsible for private equity initiatives and deals, where required.
    • Produce documentation related to transactions, including but not limited to pitch books, proposals, presentations, valuation documentation, information memoranda, documentation required in terms of stock exchange regulatory requirements etc.
    • Participate in strategic planning as a member of the management team, identify new business opportunities and develop client relationships.
    • Deal origination – work with country CEO’s and the team to develop new business new opportunities.
    • Build, manage and motivate the teams, and foster a productive working relationship with colleagues in the various countries.

    Requirements: Qualification and Skill

    • A relevant graduate & postgraduate qualification is essential.
    • The company will only look at candidates who have no less than 7-10 years relevant working experience within Corporate Finance.
    • Preference will be given to candidates who have a strong entrepreneurial background and a proven track record in building and growing an Advisory business.
    • South African citizen
    • The successful candidate will have extensive client coverage and deal origination; deal execution; M&A transaction and business development experience.
    • The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong leadership and management experience.
    • Work experience on the African continent (outside of South Africa) will be highly advantageous.
    • An excellent command of English, both written and verbal, is a requirement of the role.

    Parts Sales Representative (New Parts / Sales / Automotive / Earthmoving / Inventory)

    Job Description:

    To control and manage the sales and inventory stock for the Port Elizabeth branch, while ensuring both internal and external customer satisfaction.
     
    Responsibilities:

    • Process parts requirements for both internal and external customers. Process includes quoting phase to issuing and invoicing
