Introduction
Contribute in all HSE services and execution of HSE business of BV. - Perform HSE services as per the contract requirements. Minimum Requirements and Skills

Introduction
Welding inspector provides metallurgical support to the project teams by applying knowledge in the various types of materials used in the oil and gas and chemicals sectors, including an understanding of their applications and limitations.
Senior welding inspectors are responsible for inspecting and assessing the quality and strength of welding work and verify the welding procedures and relevant welding project documents are correctly implemented. Welding inspectors also inspect the welding equipment used and ensure welders adhere to company HSE rules and state safety regulations. Minimum Requirements and Skills
- Holds a Senior Welding Inspection Certificate / Diploma (CSWIP3.2, SAIW L2 or IWI-S, or equivalent).

- To carry out technical welding inspection and evaluation against Code, Client Specification and contractual requirement, including to review Quality Plans and relevant procedures.
- Review and validation of inspection assignment documentation in relation to welding activities (technical aspects, reference documentation, schedule, milestones, reporting, etc.)
- Ensure proper fit-up by checking edge preparation (bevel angles, root gap, etc.) in accordance with WPS/WPQR,
- Ensure welding works are performed as per approved procedures (WPS) and appropriate welders’ qualifications,

- Ensure, prior to the release of issued certificates that all applicable procedures (especially the relevant checklist) have been applied in a satisfactory manner and the conclusion is satisfactory. Any discrepancy (corrected or not) shall be reported.
- Issue Certificates of Conformity / Non-Conformity reports as expeditiously as possible within the needed timeframes and in accordance with the procedures.
- Email certificates to the concerned client (ensure proof of payment for new clients and COD clients are received, then the certificate can be released)
