    IT Support Technician - Grabouw

    Responsibilities:

    • The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
    • Provide technical assistance 1st & 2nd level support for incoming queries and IT issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
    • Respond to queries either in person, over the phone, or via remote management software.
    • Monitor the IT ticketing systems for incidents, ensuring all issues raised are dealt with in an effective & efficient manner, where possible ensuring these incidents do not breach the internal SLA.
    • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
    • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
    • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and WiFi Networks.
    • Ensure that Access to Company Systems and Networks are controlled and Secure.
    • Install computer peripherals for users.
    • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
    • Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
    • Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
    • Support and maintain POS Systems to ensure that Retail Stores have maximum uptime and excellent Customer experience.

    Main purpose of role:

    • Diagnose, repair, install and maintain hardware, networking and software components of the Company’s IT Systems to ensure reliability and availability to Company Employees.
    • Providing support to the IT team within the company.

    Requirements and Experience:

    • The successful candidate would ideally have an IT background preferably in the Food Manufacturing and Retail Industry with either College/University computing qualification.
    • Technology qualifications (A+, N+, MCSE, MCITP) will be an advantage.
    • Good knowledge of networking, switches, routers etc. (Especially Ubiquity Technologies)
    • Knowledge of IP Telephony.
    • An understanding and knowledge of SQL Server and running queries to extract or modify data.
    • Experience with SAGE 300 ERP System.
    • Experience with SAGE 300 Retail Management System. (RMS)
    • 2+ years of experience in IT support.
    • Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
    • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal, written and oral communication skills.
    • Knowledge of user Administration via Active Directory and Exchange Online.
    • Experience with Dell hardware and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
    • Willing to work overtime when required.

    Production Assistant Travel

    The Role & Key Responsibilities:

    • Support Product team in negotiating excellent commercial terms, special offers and marketing contributions year around
    • Work with the team during brochure production in the planning, negotiation, proof reading and ultimately, producing compelling brochure content
    • Assist with all elements of product administration, including – checking contracts, checking invoices, manual costing assistance for reservations team,
    • Providing destination and hotels sales and performance reports
    • Work closely with Reservations team, including checking quotes, liaising with suppliers for favours and issues, checking invoices
    • Keep in-house system up to date with content ensuring accuracy – providing rooming reports where needed. Also, checking and updating offers, inventory, new hotel information
    • Work closely with the Commercial team to prepare, sign off marketing materials on time and efficiently, including print, email and digital activity
    • Ensure the website content is both accurate and compelling
    • Pricing of packages to support marketing activities and staying on top of our special offers process
    • Helping the commercial team deliver sustainable and profitable growth through effective product marketing to consumers and trade partners
    • General administration including liaising with the finance department to review and raise product and marketing invoices
    • Assist with and attend supplier training virtually
    • Keep abreast of travel industry news and competitor analysis, including pricing
    • Working with the team when required with crisis management and supporting Operations in times of disruption

    Requirements:

    • Highly organised and excellent attention to detail
    • Able to use own initiative
    • Articulate, excellent writing, grammar and communication skills
    • Minimum 5 years Tour operating experience
    • Must have commercial acumen
    • Able to converse with high spend clientele, agents, and our suppliers
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Amadeus
    • Sales focused, team player and flexible
    • Self-starter, highly motivated and innovative, with plenty of energy and initiative
    • Strong work ethic and customer service skills
    • Team player
    • Excellent communicator
    • Passionate about travel
