    Junior Analyst - Sandton

    Job description 
    Data Analysis & Big Data Management:

    •  Conduct comprehensive data analysis to derive actionable insights and support decision-making processes
    •  Utilize statistical methods and tools to interpret complex data sets
    •  Critically analyse cash forecast trends, ability to interpret and understand cash forecast trends and performance
    •  Optimisation of cash holdings, understanding the P&L drivers and how these drivers link to operational efficiencies
    •  Work with large and complex datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity
    •  Develop and implement strategies for handling and analyzing big data effectively
    •  Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly reporting and the ability to identify opportunity for automation within these processes

     Practical Application:

    •  Ability to understand the practical application of a SMART ATM, understanding the data life cycle (from hardware to software)
    •  Ability to technically understand the functioning of the SMART ATM Hardware components
    •  Understand system integrations
    •  Assist in devising and operationalising the “top up” and “uncash” model needed to maximise profitability
    •  Unpacking and providing input on the right denomination mix to minimise cash holding and unnecessary uncashes
    •  Categorising the sites into different categories based on their different activity and usage (merchant usage and card holder demand)

    Minimum requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a STEM related field
    •  Strong coding skills (at a minimum Python)
    •  Proficiency in handling and analyzing big data sets (Big Data science Background will be preferred)
    •  Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting
    •  Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
    •  Familiarity with database systems (SQL)
    •  Knowledge of machine learning concepts would be advantageous
    •  Strong analytical, Business and financial acumen

    Job description

    • Preparation of cashbook entries and bank reconciliations
    •   Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to suppliers
    •   Process invoices  and verify financial data for use in maintaining accurate accounts payable records
    •   Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables
    •   Ensure the accuracy of the financial documents for payment, auditing and tax purposes
    •   Reconciliation of Supplier accounts and practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to suppliers in a timely manner
    •   Attending to queries
    •   Assisting with yearly audit and preparation of audit files

    Job description

    •  Maintain and improve ATM uptime
    •  Timeous attendance to callout calls
    •  Timeous repairs of ATM’s in the designated areas

     Ensure quality of new switch-on’s

    Bench Repair Technician in Cape Town

    Job description

    Repairing Spares and Tracking Repairs

    • Collecting parts to be repaired from the Field Technicians and faulty parts stores, depending on the priorities to be repaired
    • Scanning in the part that is being worked on when starting to repair the part
    • Diagnosing what is wrong with the part and obtaining the appropriate small spares required from the small spares store in order to fix the spares
    • Repairing NMD Dispensers, which contain the feeder, qualifier, stacker, diverter, BCU, reject bins, casettes and BOU
    • Repairing card readers, keypads, boards and monitors
    • Updating the job card for the specific spare once the repair is completed and printing the job card
    • Ensuring that the monthly target (based on the nature of the spare repaired) is achieved

    Quality assurance

    • Testing the repaired parts
    • Ensuring that the number of parts that are returned as a result of poor quality repairs do not exceed a maximum of 2 returns per week

    Occupational health and safety

    • Ensuring that the work station is kept neat at all times to avoid any accidentals or injuries
    • Inspecting tools to ensure that they are in proper working order
    • Reporting any damage to tools or unsafe working environmental issues or practices to the team leader, supervisor or safety representative

    Minimum requirements

    • Matric
    • Completed Mechatronics / Related qualification
    • MS Office
    • 1 year in electrical or mechanical repairs technical experience
    • Ideally this candidate should have knowledge of ATM spares
